Chapter 2: Ending Up in a Time Machine

He asked me "So Sir....."

"You don't need to call me Sir, We are now friends, You can call me James" I replied

Well "Where is your home" I asked

Bruce said " I am all alone and I have no where to go, I don't know where I am going to spend the night, Its already too dark"

"No problem you can spend the night at my house" I said

No, I wouldn't like to disturb you James" he said

"Not at all Its okay" I replied

Thanks a lot James, I don't what to say but I really appreciate it" Bruce replied and we headed towards my home.

So, James Tell me something about yourself" Bruce asked 

"Well, I from Germany I did my schooling in Germany and after my college I came here to US to do my further studies and I am doing a part time job at a Pizza Restaurant "PIZZZA MANIA" . My parents are back in Germany, And I am happy with my life"

Well, That's a good thing Sir... OhOhh.. I meant James" 

So, Whats up with your life and how do you end up here" I asked

Bruce took a deep breath and said: "It's a long story"

"My house is not few meters away" I replied

"Well, My life starts when I was born in 2050....

I was shocked and replied "What...Stop.. How's that possible its still the year 1955 going on"

Ohh....Sorry I forgot to tell you "I am a Time Traveller" "The car and the plate number might have given you a clue about the topic"

I remembered and said "Ohhh..."OUT A TIME" That's what it meant(Time Travel)"

 So...he continued "I was born in France in 2050, I was not like other kids, I liked to sit at home and read books without stepping out my house, I had no friends, You might say Books were only my friend My parents were worried as they thought about how would I be able cope with the children in school" But they thought wrong I made many friends at school and used to have a great time with my friends and my neighbors too especially with "DOC...."

"Who Doc..."   I asked in a puzzled manner

Ohhh... Doc "Hes is the best person you would ever meet"

He used to live in front my house, I used to see him daily in his Home cum Laboratory engaged himself in inventing something or the other. Everytime I open window I used see him doing his unusal stuff standing at the exact same spot with his half head inside some machine I could only see his half bald head" From that day onwards I started to think "Does this guy do something else other than invent, Does he even get up for washroom or he has some "Portable Toilet" attached to his back.

"Ha...Haa.haaa" I burst out laughing  

He continued " I still remember when i  met him, After buying some books from the bookstore i was returning home, I saw Doc for the first time he was on a cycle and was riding it as he no control over it he was shouting "MOVE AWAY.....MOVE AWAY" he bumped into me and all my books were on the floor he quickly got up collected my books and handed it over to me, He said in a feeble voice " I am sorry Sir... I am really Sorry". I said " Fine " and Doc rode away  with his cycle.

We became really good friends when I helped him in his invention, He was very much elated, I could see a big smile on his face, A smile which he had saved for many years.

Ohhh...Here we are "HOME" I replied

Bruce said  "It a really  good house"  

"Thanks" I said and we got in through the main door....
