Six years after they graduate high school.
Katie
"Learn how to yield bitch ass," I yell as I slam on my brakes.
"Read the damn sigh," I mumble under my breath as if the person in the car could hear me. I swear it's like no one knows how to get on the interstate.
My car practically rumbles in response, I pat the dash broad, "I know Bronc we're almost there."
Unfortunately, about a year ago my truck died on me, and the mooter finely gave out. I was crushed but to get it repaired it would take forever, and I needed a new car anyway. So, I bought a new Ford Bronco, it's a nice car, but it's still not the same as my truck.
Now my truck sits in my garage waiting to get fixed, but before I can get too deep in thought my phone rings.
The only reason I lean over and answer my phone is because it's Izzy and I know she will keep calling till I answer. I put my phone on speaker and set it beside me in the seat.
"I would like to let you know that I am driving so if I get into a fiery car it's all your fault," I say instead of hello.
" Well, if you die I'll make sure to pick your worst photo for your ad in the paper," Izzy replies.
I scoff, "Wyatt would be in charge of that not you,"
Izzy sighs, "Oh yeah it would probably choose a really good one."
I laugh, "So, why are you calling me?"
"Because I wanted to make sure you had your dress."
I groan, "Yes Izzy, I have to dress," Not 'The Dress' because Izzy doesn't trust me to drive my wedding dress to the wedding venue.
"Okay, just checking," Izzy says with a laugh. "How far away are you?"
"About an hour," I say. "How's my niece doing?"
"Good, she's excited to see you," Izzy says and by the sound of her voice, I know she's smiling.
I smile, "Alright, I'll see you there."
Izzy says bye and then hangs up.
Yep, I am getting married to the love of my life. That's right, he finally proposed after a year of me asking.
I was fine with going to Vegas and getting married by Elvis, but Izzy insisted I have a wedding, I finally agreed, but she had to be my wedding planner.
So, for the past few months, she's planned a small wedding at Stacy and Jacobs's wedding venue. The same place where she and Tyler got married last year.
As the fiancé of an NFL quarterback and a Super Bowl winner, we had to be very careful about planning the wedding so the press didn't find out. As far as they know I'm getting married in the fall, not the middle of July.

After a three-hour car ride with one stop, I finally arrived at Stacy's ranch. After she finished college Jacob inherited a ranch and they decided to get married. They then turned the ranch into a wedding venue/ vacation spot.
Once I park my Bronco, I spot Jacob on a tractor hauling a round bale, when he sees me, he waves. Their ranch is beautiful, when they first opened it Wyatt and I brought Remi and Sammy here for a visit. They have tons of land and lots of trails.
A small part of me wishes I could get lost in the woods on Remi, but that thought leaves as I see Stacy walk out of their house with a baby on her hip. "I cannot believe you are driving a new car!" She yells.
