Unexpected Vows

Chapter 1

Third person's pov -

The whole lobby of the company swarmed with people and media who were in need of the answers to their questions .

Why won't they ask questions when the most famous and daring ceo of the country has herself caused a scandal that shook people down to their core .

The camera flicking flashes and the sounds filled and echoed from the lobby but all of it came to a halt when the sound of clicking heels was heard from the entrance of the company .

As the glass door of the company opened it revealed a woman wearing a white suit with a Black shirt and coral glasses .

Her gaze couldn't be made but still was stern . It was as if her eyes had answers already but the mocking smile on her face hid it .

As she moved forward with her one hand in her left pocket while she carried a black handbag in the other . Her confident yet powerful walk spoke for itself .

The sound of her heels clicking now matched with the sounds of the flashes of the cameras clicking . Everyone was fighting trying to get a picture of her but she just smirked and halted on her steps .

Meet "Anayra bansal" .....

Anayra's pov -

I halted on my steps taking everyone by a shock . I took off my glasses and smiled lightly but it was easy to make out that , that smile was more of a mocking one than a happy sort .

"I will count till three and I need you all out by then because this is my company and not a zoo ." I said and before i could have even started counting all of them got up and rushed out of the company .

"Mam , I thought you wouldn't come today ." My secretary or more so bestfriend asked in a whispering tone while i continued to move forward while she followed me .

"Wow Ayesha , I didn't expect you to call me mam after what all you said to me last night ." I said chuckling while she tried to catch up to me .

"I wouldn't have had but we are in a public space and here you are my boss and not my best friend ." She said and we reached to the elevator and i pressed while she entered in at the last moment as well .

"Anayra , did you really do it ?" She asked huffing trying to catch her breath with her hands on her knees but I stood there quietly making her sigh .

We reached my floor and got down as i made my way to my cabin and room my seat there .

She was about to leave when i stopped her by answering the question that she had just asked .

"Look around and see . This is my kingdom and i rule it and a queen doesn't fucking betray . The day that a queen betrays you know what happens , she dies and I am still alive and as the queen of this kingdom i would unalive myself before meeting up with the people's accusation of treachery with my company ." I said with my hands on the arms of my chair making her turn around .

"Anayra , the whole media is making accusations on you and yet you are un bothered . Don't you have feelings or something like that ?" She asked or more so shouted and I got up from my chair in a jerk and walked towards the edge of the table leaning my back on it and crossing my arms around my chest before answering .

"If I would be bothered then won't you all be tensed and a good leader doesn't fail . It leads people to success and not to failure . And about your question on my feelings let me tell you that to exist in this now world you need to let go of your feelings because they only make you weak , so weak that it becomes difficult to even breathe but i choose to stand than to fall because that's what leaders do don't they ." I said smirking while she sighed and then left the cabin without saying anything further .
