Clorinde x Navia (angst)

 
     "I have to leave..." Navia clings onto Clorinde, as if they were lovers. "Please don't leave, I-I need you!" Clorinde removes her arm from Navia's grasp. "You don't need me Navia! We are acquainted at that, we aren't friends, and we definitely aren't lovers!" Navia freezes in place as tears roll down her face. "Then leave, leave me and everyone else you care about behind! Atleast I think about the people around me, you're cold and selfish!" Clorinde turns around to face Navia, both women filled with anger. "I do care! I care about you Navia! But I must leave to protect Fontaine..." "Then show me you care! So I can hold your promise while you're away!" Navia clings back onto Clorinde's arm, but this time Clorinde envelops Navia into a tight embrace. "I promise I'll come back for you Navia, I will just for you..." Navia weeps on Clorinde's shoulder, clinging on to her acquaintance like it's the last thing that she'll do. "But why must you fill me with hope, as if we're going to spend the time you come back together?" Navia wipes her tears and looks at the women infront of her. "Because I know how you think of me Navia, you want us to be friends if not more." "If you know then why continue to be around when you don't feel the same!" Navia backs away again and waits for her answer, that she's been awaiting to hear for years. "I never said that! I-" "Then tell me how you feel!" Navia cuts her off  mid sentence, her voice filled with frustration. "I can't cause then you won't let me leave!" "That isn't true and you know that! You just want to hide your emotions from me like you do from everyone else!" The women stand there and look at each other one crying while the other's face is filled with frustration. "I love you Navia! Is that what you want to hear!? That I've been in love with you since I saw you, or that I've kept you close but yet so far from my emotions because I care so much!" Navia freezes and then pulls Clorinde into a tight embrace, not wanting to let go. "But you have to let me leave..." "I will but I want one last thing before you leave" Navia looks at her 'acquaintance', Navia kisses Clorinde's cheek and then let's her go, Clorinde's face gets slightly pink but she smiles softly. "I'll leave now but thank you for listening to me." Navia nods and smiles. "Of course, it's the least I can do." Clorinde turns around and exits the room, leaving Navia alone but filled with joy
