Snow and hail pelt the ground, winds growing increasingly more angered. Suddenly a sharp shatter rings out through the freezing air. Soft wings breaking a fall. The sounds of the wind and footsteps, all you can hear.

Soft breaths, puffs of smoke as they trudged through the snow. Shivering and trembling, a crimson dripping from their shoulder. Nothing but the wind holding them back however, never giving up, never looking back.

They soon find themselves on the snowy cliffside, below, the frozen ocean. With a deep breath, they throw themself off.

Falling through the freezing air, diving as if they could fly. Closing their eyes, and letting a small breath out as they grow closer to the ground.

Seven years pass since the horrid freeze

Stretching, he groans and stands from his bed. Looking in the mirror to check his wings, a few feathers out of place. Sighing he fixes them, before trudging into the Living room. The 21 year old groans again, going to make some coffee for himself.
Once his coffee is made, he goes to sit on the couch with it, sipping as he grabs his book. He reads his book and sips his coffee, a few minutes getting a knock on his door. Sighing he stands, setting his coffee down and making his way to the door, slightly tripping over some yawn and feathers.
Making it to the door and slightly opening it.

He sighs seeing it's just the daily messenger, opening the door full to look at the blonde angel, her halo around her neck.  He smiles as she hands him a letter.
“Thank you Saturn, I appreciate it,” his voice sounded like dripping honey, smooth and sweet. Saturn smiles, giving him a nod, her wings puffing out slightly as she waves and begins to go back to town. He grins, waving her off before shutting his door. Making his way back to the couch through the wretched messy floor.
Getting to his Couch almost safely, he sighs. He should probably Clean soon. He easily opens the Letter, Careful not to rip it. He begins reading it, getting an uneasy feeling.
His wings fold as he crosses his legs. The letter talks of small quests that he’s not inclined to do though intriguingly enough he's drawn too.
Such as a mosquito to heat, he is drawn to it. Deciding that he may go turn the letter in and try such a quest. It's the way our townspeople get money, someone will issue out quests and others will take and complete them for 15g.

His usual routine was interrupted by a plate shattering in the kitchen. With a quick snap of the neck he looked, seeing only a cat, With long black fur. He sighs, Cashmier. Standing and approaching he picks the feline up.
Neptune will have to care for them while He’s gone. He gives Cashmier a kiss on the forehead before setting her down and picking up the glass shards. quickly finishing, though nicking himself in the process.
Practically sprinting upstairs, he Quickly digs in his closet. Pulling out some separate clothes and travel packs. Slipping the clothes on, he grunts, his wings slightly getting caught in the shirt before slipping into their holes in the back of his shirt.
Hurriedly tying a bag to his hip, putting the storage pack between his wings while the straps around his chest.
Leaving his room he gras Cashmier, putting her in his hip bag, her head out as he walks. He keeps all his travel supplies in his pack so he has no need to worry about that.

Leaving the house and making his way into town, he hums. Cashmier looks at her owner, slightly confused, meowing to ask what's going on.
The winged boy sighs, looking at Cashmier and lightly patting her head before continuing. Soon enough he reaches a home, the home almost covered in overgrown plants. Without even knocking the door opens. A slightly taller, blue haired guy peeking out, His dragonfly-like wings flicking.
The small boy smiles. “Hey Neptune! How are you?” He asked, waiting for Neptunes response. Neptune takes a moment, before straightening up and smiling.

“Nothing much, just feed my babies, y'know? So what brings you here?” the Younger boy Laughs at Neptunes reply, A small silver kitten in the Taller boys arms.

“Nothing much, It's just I have a new quest and was wondering if you could cat sit for me,” He smiles, pointing to the black cat in his hip bag. Cashmier is eyeing the kitten up, ears slightly pinned back.
Neptune looks at Cashmier, before quickly snagging her from the younger boy's bag.
“Of course I'd watch a beautiful angel like her!” Neptune Chirps enthusiastically.
The smaller boy sighs, Before thanking Neptune and turning to walk away.

“Be safe, i don't want to see this angel lose her mama,” Neptune chuckles, closing his door with a soft smile.
The younger boy mutters a ‘i know’ under his breath and goes to check out the quest center. Upon arrival he sees a Nymph with messy hair doing paperwork, They quickly notice him and get up.

“Lunar! It's spectral-tacular to see you!” The Messy haired Nymph exclaimed, laughing at their own Pun.
“It's great to see you too, Spectral.” Lunar giggles, Before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the letter. “I'm going to do it,”

Spectral takes a moment, taking the note and pulling his glasses down from his head. Silence fills the room as Spectral reads the note before going back to his desk, grabbing a stamp, stamping it and placing it into a small pile.
Lunar patiently waits, knowing it's just how spectral does his thing. He waits until Spectral looks at him and smiles.

“Good luck! Don’t get yourself hurt out there!” the messy haired brunette encourages, Lunar laughing at that.
“I assure you, I won't!” With that, Lunar leaves to go start this new quest.
