Seeing You Again

Chapter 10

Emma's P.O.V
Today was Christmas Eve. I woke up around 8 with morning sickness, which made Liam get up and check on me. We went back to sleep after that and got up at 10:00. We made breakfast and got ready. I put on a sweater with leggings, I then curled my hair and braided part of it. Liam through on Jeans with a t-shirt. By the time we were done it was about 12:00, so we grabbed our gifts and made our way to Karen and Geoff's house.

When we arrived Liam came over to my side of the car, and opened the door for me. I thanked him with a smile and climbed out. Me and Liam laced our hands together and waited for Karen to open the door. When she did Autumn was with her, dressed in a sweater with jeans.

"Mommy, daddy!" Autumn came and hugged both of our legs. I picked her up.

"Did you have fun sweetheart?" I asked her.

"Yea, we decorated the tree." Autumn said pointing to the lit up tree in the corner. I smiled and walked in the house.

"We're just waiting for the ham to finish then we will start eating!" Karen said. Liam led me over to the couch were we watched Christmas movies, with Autumn.

"The foods ready!" Karen yelled. Autumn ran into the kitchen, with Liam and I following behind.

We ate till we were stuffed, and the food was amazing. While we were eating, we all made small talk and just bonded. When we were done, we cleaned up the kitchen and went to open gifts. Autumn had mostly all the gifts, but everyone had at least one gift. I gave Liam his gift, which was a ring with the letters E and L twisted together on the front. Inside the ring forever was engraved in it.

"Babe, I love it. Thank you so much," Liam said leaning in for a kiss.

"Your welcome babe."

"Ok lets get a picture together before we open anymore presents." Karen said.

"Ok Autumn go stand in the back with Liam's sisters, and Geoff. Emma and Liam stand in the front." Karen said, I thought the arrangement was weird but I didn't say anything. Liam and I stood in the front and got ready for the picture.

"Mommy look!" I turned around and gasped, covering my mouth. With a flash going off.

Autumn, Nicola, Ruth, and Geoff had taken off their shirts so now in order they had shirts saying Will You Marry Me? Liam was in front of me on one knee holding a diamond ring.

"Emma I've loved you since the first time I've seen you. When we started dating the first time I was so stupid for leaving. I live you with every piece of my heart, and the fact that you've given me Autumn has made me love you even more. Emma will you do me the honor and make me the happiest man alive by marrying me?" I had tears running down my face.

"Yes, of course." I said. Liam slid the ring on my finger, while I wiped away the tears running down my face.

It turns out that, that was the last gift. We hung out at Liam's parents house for little longer then we headed home. I loaded Autumn in her carseat, and closed the door.

"Thank you so much for having us," I told Karen and Geoff.

"Thank you for coming!" They both said, while giving me a hug. We said our goodbyes and started our journey home. 30 minutes into our drive, Autumn was already asleep. I was looking at my ring twirling it around.

"How long were you planning on doing this?" I asked Liam.

"Well I bought it before the tour ended, I just didn't know when to propose. Then when I was talking to my mom she helped me think of doing it. Then when you told me you were pregnant, I knew for sure I wanted to propose." Liam said with a smile, while grabbing my hand and setting it between us.

"When's my appointment?" I asked Liam.

"The day after Christmas," he answered.

"Ok, are you going with?" I asked him.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for anything."

"Ok, I'm gonna ask Louis if him and Eleanor can watch Autumn." I told Liam. He nodded his head.

I ended up falling asleep during the drive. I woke up to Liam shaking me.

"Emma, babe we're home." Liam said. I stretched and got out of the car. It was 10:00, so we carried in Autumn without waking her up. We got all the bags out of the car, then moved Autumns gifts under the tree. We laid out her stocking, and went to bed.

"Night Liam, love you."

"Love you to, babe."
