Seeing You Again

Chapter 12

Emma's P.O.V
Today we were going to tell Autumn, and Liam's parents about how were expecting.

"Autumn come here," I yelled. Autumn came running into the kitchen were Liam, and I were waiting for her.

"Yea Mommy?" She asked. Liam picked her up and sat her down on the counter.

"Sweetie we have a surprise for you. In 8 months your gonna have two new siblings." I told her.

"Are they gonna be a boy or a girl?" She asked me.

"We don't know yet sweetie." I said while grabbing the ultrasound.

"Here's what they look like, right now." I said pointing to two little dots on the screen.

"They're tiny," Autumn said examining the little picture.

"They'll eventually get bigger as the months go by." Liam told her.

"Can I name one of them?" Autumn asked. I smiled at her.

"We'll see sweetheart." I told her she nodded her head.

"Can I go back to playing with my dolls?" Autumn asked.

I laughed,"go ahead sweetheart."

"Do you wanna FaceTime my parents?" Liam asked me. I nodded my head. He grabbed his laptop and started calling his mom. It finally connected. We had agreed to do something more creative then just telling them. Liam was gonna send his sister a text while we were talking to them, and in the text was gonna be a picture of the ultrasound.

"Hi mom!" Liam said waving to the camera.

"Hi Liam, hi Emma, how are you guys." Karen asked us.

"We're doing good, but we have a surprise to tell you guys. So can you get everyone together?" Liam asked his mom.

"Yea sure, just hold on a minute," she said while calling everyone into the living room. Liam grabbed my hand while we were waiting, I looked at him and smiled.

"Ok everyone's here Liam," Karen said. Liam quickly sent the text.

"Ok, Ruth will you check your phone real quick?" Liam asked her.

"Umm sure," she said while opening unlocking her phone. All of a sudden her eyes went wide.

"Oh my god!" She quickly showed the phone to everyone else. Liam's mom started crying, while Geoff was smiling from ear to ear.

"Your having twins?!" Nicola asked. We both nodded with a smile.

"How far along are you?" Karen asked.

"1 month and two days." I answered.

"I'm so happy for you, guys." Ruth said.

"Thank you," we both said. We stayed on the computer for a little longer until we hanged up.

"Are you gonna tell your parents?" Liam asked me, while we sat down on the couch.

"I don't know. They don't even want to talk to me." I said looking at my lap.

"How about you just send each of them a text saying that your pregnant." Liam told me, while resting his hand on my leg.

"Ok," I said taking my phone out.

I quickly typed out :Hey, just wanted to let you know Liam and I are expecting twins.

"Hows that?" I asked Liam showing him the text. He nodded his head. I sent the text and laid my head on Liam's shoulder. Not even a minute later, I started getting a call.

"It's my mom." I said with wide eyes.

"Answer it babe, I'll be right here the whole time." Liam said, I nodded my head and answered it.

"Hello," I asked my mom.

"Emma? It's your mother." She said in a sharp tone.

"Oh hi." I said.

"So your pregnant again?" She asked me.

"Yea." I said.

"When's Liam gonna leave you this time?" She asked almost in a laugh like voice.

"He's not. He proposed to me on Christmas Eve." I told her.

"That won't last long." She said.

"You know what mom, I'm tired of you always trying to put me down. What did I ever do to make you hate me! I wasn't even going to tell you, and I wish I hadn't. Don't bother even trying to talk to me again, and don't show up at my wedding either!" I yelled at her hanging up. I got up off the couch and walked to my room. I sat down on my bed, and put my head in my hands. I sighed in frustration and closed my eyes.

"Babe? Are you ok?" Liam asked me. I looked up at him and he had a look of concern on his face.

"No," I answered looking down at my lap. I sniffled a little bit, and started getting teary eyed. Liam came over to me, and sat down next to me. He wrapped his arms around me, and gave me a tight hug. I hugged him back and closed my eyes.

"You think she would be somewhat happy for me." I told Liam with tears rolling down my face. Liam wiped my tears away with his thumb.

"I know babe. She's stupid to not wanna be around one of the best people on this Earth. Emma you're beautiful, and your just so amazing. If your parents can't see that it's their lost. Liam said giving me a kiss on the lips. I smiled at him.

"I love you Liam." I said, putting my head on his shoulder.

"I love you to," he said kissing my cheek.

"How about I put Autumn to bed, and we can have a movie night tonight." Liam offered.

"Sounds perfect," I said with a smile.
