Midnight Snak (Part 4)

11:00 pm almost midnight-

"Thanks for cooking dinner May. Your chicken curry is amazing i didn't know you're the one who can make the best curry." Geraldine said and May chuckles

"That's nothing. I'm really glad it's okay for you to let me stay in here. As long as i get an apartment im gonna move out." She said.

"You don't need to do that. Why don't you stay in here instead? You're my brother's girlfriend so it's okay if you stay in here and you cook well." Geraldine said.

"Are your friends arrive at 11:00?" Carl question while doing the dishes. May is helping him by cleaning the table.

"Yeah they are..."

Someone knocks on the door and Geraldine looks at it before walking towards it. She opens the door and see Kyle. Holding a plastic bag with some snacks on it.

"Wow, your house look so fancy." Kyle said as he enters.

"I know. Where's Priya and Max? Don't tell me they're not going..." They both go to kitchen and Kyle place the snacks in the table.

"They said they will follow. They went into a store to buy a CD because she wants to choose the movie we're watching tonight." He explains. And Geraldine just nods.

"Movie? You guys are watching movies?" Carl ask them.

"Yeah we are. You and May can join us." Geraldine said.

"Nah-" Carl said but May speaks.

"I love to." Carl looks at her. "I love horror movies especially in midnight."

"Same. You can join us." Geraldine said and Carl just sigh.

"What about Jordan?" Kyle question.

"He's sleeping at this time." Geraldine answer. Geraldine walks away and go to the living room with her phone and starts to call Priya.

"Are you Geraldine's boyfriend?" Carl question Kyle making Kyle raise his eyebrows.

"No we are not!" Geraldine says loudly from the living room before Kyle even answer. She keeps contacting Priya.

"I'll be on my room." Carl said to May and give her a goodbye kiss before he went to his room.

"See ya." May said before looking to Kyle who's on his phone. "Did you bring popcorn?" She question.

"Uhm... No. Just some chips and... That's all. But i bring a lot." He said.

"Popcorn is still the best in movie night." She said.

"Hey, Priya..." Geraldine says as she speak to Priya through the phone. "Where are you guys right now?"

"Me and Max are in the movie store. We are choosing a movie right now. Priya said as she takes a look at the CD in the displays. "Okay, bye. See ya." Priya hang up the call and Max look at her while he's also looking at the CDs.

"Is that Geraldine?" Max question and Priya nods.

"She also said we should bought a popcorn." Priya said. Putting back the CD that she is holding and looks for other ones.

"Okay..." Max says while still checking out the CDs.

Priya keeps looking at the CDs and there's a CD that caught her attention. She takes it and take a look at it. Its a horror movie about sadako. The girl that comes out in the tv.

"This is perfect." Priya said and Max looks at it and looks at Priya.

"You sure?"

"I am. Were gonna get this. And im sure Geraldine will love this. We are watching a movie like this just the other day..." Priya said before she go to the counter and Max put back the CD he was holding before following Priya.
