Chapter 46: The Legend of Gaea Everfree and the Story of the Dragonkin

It's nighttime and everyone is at the campfire telling stories or more arcuately, scary stories. You had your guitar with you in case you wanted to play a song. Rarity was telling...a less than scary story.

Rarity: And that's when she looked down and realized she was wearing purple socks with a burgundy dress!

She did a bit of a scream but everyone just seemed bored by her story while Pinkie ate a marshmallow.

Rarity: Purple and burgundy darlings! The same color family!

She said and did her scream again but no one was amused.

Sunny Flare: A burgundy dress and purple socks? Ugh, what a terrible fashion choice.

Applejack: Uh...that was a terrifying story.

Sugarcoat: Yeah.. for a fashion diva.

Rainbow Dash: (joking) Yeah, I'm terrified she'll try to tell it again.

Indigo Zap: Now that would be a scary story.

She snickered at the end.

Vice Principal Luna: Does anyone else have a spooky story or any story in general?

Hiccup then thought of something.

Hiccup: Hey (Y/N), what about that story of the first Dragonkin your grandpa used to tell us when we were kids? That was always a good story.

(Y/N): You want me to tell that story?

Tuffnut: Yeah. That one was always my favorite story.

This gains your girlfriend's interest.

Twilight: There was a dragonkin before you?

(Y/N): Legends have told that the first ever dragonkin warrior was born.

You pulled out your book of dragons and turned to the story.

(Y/N): Many years ago, before humans and dragons were at war with each other, humans and dragons lived in peace. There was a young man named Adenus who would become a new king not just to the dragons, but to the people. Adenus's partner was a Night Fury who he saved from a net trap. That dragon became loyal to him.

You flipped the page.

(Y/N): By the time Adenus reached the age of 20, his father had passed away and Adenus was then crowned the new alpha. Adenus would lead by example to everyone, but his father had promised him that he would do things differently to lead. There were these five tribes of people. The Forest Dwellers, the Snowers, the Volcanic Miners, the Excavator Expeditioners, and the Ocean Explorers. There were some conflicts, but they were mostly minor.

(Y/N): One day, when Adenus was visiting the tribes, he was given five different colored eggs. A green one, a blue one, a red one, a yellow one, and a purple one. Adenus would watch over them as if they were his children. Then, the eggs hatched into baby dragons that Adenus wasn't sure of who they were. The dragons were the Shellfire, the Screaming Death, the Green Death, the Bewilderbeast, and the Foreverwing. Every day, Adenus would train the young to listen to him and obey his commands. He was successful, which led to an answer.

(Y/N): By the time Adenus reached the age of 25, he was visiting the Ocean Explorers because they were dealing with a problem.

Aria: What type of problem could they be dealing with?

(Y/N): A massive shark problem. The population overgrew on that day. But the problem was then fixed thanks to the help of one of his dragons, the Shellfire. This dragon reduced the shark population by a lot and the fish were then swimming back. Soon, Adenus would leave his children with the tribe leaders and they would become alpha dragons, while Adenus remained as the true alpha.
