You are tired, dragging your feet to the door of your house from university. Once you reached inside, you threw your bag aside and jumped onto the bed to rest. Your sister, Y/n, is a sophomore high schooler who is average. You don't mean that literally but it was fairly close to that.

Well, it was not like you're any better so you're not someone to complain about. However, you can't help but feel annoyed at her when she behaved rudely like a brat and not a proper 17-year-old. At first, you would chastise her for her lack of self-control and remind her to keep her temper in check because you felt that she was still young so you thought it was normal for her to have a rebellious phase. Still, the longer this drags on, the more you realize that she will not change her behavior which is how you both got into fights a lot.

It is no wonder she kept getting fired from her part-time jobs thanks to her temper.

A single glance from your father is enough to quell the fight as he is a very temperamental man and very unpredictable with his mood swings. Let's not forget his twisted sense of humor so you both know not to get on his bad side.

At least that stopped Y/n from exploding though that is only temporary and you wondered when your father ever snap if it weren't for his patience. It's as if he's more experienced in this for a long time. However, you can see that he is slowly losing his patience and you could use your mother's assistance before it was too late to stop your father from exploding.

Anyway, this flow somehow got sidetracked a bit. Onto the story...

The Next Morning~

As you slowly woke up, your eyes fluttered open and you got up from the bed. You took a cold shower to freshen up and changed into comfortable home clothes since it was the weekend. When you walked out of your room to go to the kitchen for breakfast, you found some dishes left on the table by your mother. You understood that your parents were working, but your sister was nowhere to be seen.

Usually, she would wake up at this time on the weekend but right now, she is not here or awake.

You walked out of the kitchen to go upstairs to your sister's room. Once you got there, you knocked on the door.

"Y/n, are you still sleeping in your room? Wake up or else the food Mom cooked for us will turn cold," you called out.

There is no response, so you knock again, assuming she's still asleep. "Wake up, Y/n, or I'll have to pull you out of bed myself," you threaten.

Still no answer. Your brows were furrowed and you opened the door to her room. You thought you would find her sleeping like a sprawled cat but instead, you couldn't see Y/n anywhere.

You blinked, wondering where would she go. Y/n is not much of an outdoor person and she doesn't have school on the weekend so where is she?

You looked around her room and the possible hiding spots she could be hiding but your sister was not here.

"Where could that lazy couch potato have gone? She's not a morning person or an outdoor person," you muttered in confusion while scratching your head.

You walked back downstairs to the kitchen and sat on the chair as you started eating the food your mother had cooked for you. Once done, you save some of your sister's share and place it in the fridge to preserve it.

You thought of going back upstairs to your room and resting more since yesterday you felt like being stampeded by a herd of horses because of university so you walked back upstairs to your room.
