Arya's pov:

It was already 6:00 in the evening, and I was running late. I had to go to that rich man's house, the one I'd been assigned to assist, but the nerves were hitting me hard. Anxiety clawed at my insides, making me feel restless and uneasy.

Lavanya appeared at my desk with her usual bright energy, pulling me out of my thoughts. We chatted for a while until she suddenly said, "Hey, don't forget, we're meeting at the café later. I've got a surprise for you!" Her eyes sparkled with curiosity, and I nodded with a faint smile, though my heart wasn't in it.

Just then, a notification popped up on my phone. It was Shreya, the receptionist.

Shreya: Hey Arya, I've mailed you the address.
Arya: Okay, I'll reach there within half an hour.
Shreya: Alright, but be careful. Nothing should go wrong. He's very particular about punctuality.
Arya: Got it.

I sighed in frustration, muttering under my breath, Why does everyone keep harping on the fact that he's rich? What is it with people and money?

Lavanya snapped her fingers in front of my face. "Hey, where are you lost, babe?" she asked, noticing my distracted expression.

I looked up from my phone and shook my head, signaling that I was fine. She raised her eyebrows but didn't press further.

"Are yaar, I have to leave, or else I'll be late," I said, glancing at the time. It was already 6:30. Lavanya sighed, looking a little disappointed.

"Okay, chal bye. Café mein milte hain," she said, waving me off with a small smile.
(Let's meet at the café.)

As I watched her walk away toward her cabin, a strange sense of unease settled over me. I didn't know why, but something felt off. My gut was telling me not to go to the café tonight, though I couldn't figure out why.

I headed to the parking lot, where the driver greeted me with a smile. Showing him the address, I said, "Kaka, take me to this place." He nodded and started the car.

The ride was quiet, and I stared out the window, my mind swirling with thoughts. Something about today just didn't feel right.

"We're here, Arya ma'am," the driver announced, pulling me out of my trance. I stepped out of the car, clutching my bag tightly as adrenaline coursed through me.

"Nothing, Arya. It's just nerves," I whispered to myself, trying to calm the pounding in my chest. But deep down, I knew it was more than that. Something about this visit felt... ominous.

I approached the grand entrance of the house, taking in the opulence that screamed wealth from every corner. Black and grey dominated the interior, lending it a cold, intimidating vibe. It wasn't just rich,it was billionaire rich.

As I moved further in, my eyes landed on a man standing across the hall. his sharp eyes , chiseled cheekbones, defined muscles, and a prominent jawline, all complemented by dimples that softened his otherwise sharp features. My breath hitched, and my jaw tightened when I noticed a girl hugging him. For reasons I couldn't explain, I silently cursed her.
