A girl moved her hand on her bedside table, searching for the phone with her eyes still closed. She picked it up in frustration because her sleep was disturbed by it.
"What kind of storm has arrived that it can only be calmed by my waking up?" I said to whoever was on the other side.
"When you find out what has happened, you yourself will bring the storm," a female voice said in my ear.
I heard her somewhere, but ahhh, my sleep-
I can't come out of it.
"Who are you, and why are you bothering me so early in the morning?" I exclaimed to the irritable girl on the other end.
Who the fuck calls someone at this early in the morning?
"My sleeping beauty, it's 10 in the morning, and I'm Rashi. Do you remember now, or should I show you my Aadhar card?" She shouted in frustration.
"What's happened, anyway? And it's a holiday, so why stress at 10 or even 12?" I said aloud.
Who knows what mess she's gotten herself into so early in the morning.
Rashi: "First, check the email that came from the hospital."
"Come on, just tell me, I'll have to wander around otherwise," I lazily replied because I was still feeling very sleepy.
But Rashi refused to tell me, so reluctantly, I had to open the email myself.
And as soon as I saw it,
My mind got freezed.
"Yeh kya bakch- nhi nhi subah uthtai hi gaali nhi." I dialed Rashi's number again.
"What's all this?"
Rashi: "Exactly, first they give us a holiday, and then suddenly call us in. Is this fair?"
"Bro, what am I going to do now?" I said sadly, still reeling from the shock of the morning.
Rashi: "Bro, forget about yourself for a moment and think of me. I came to my friend's house in another city to spend the holiday, and you're at your sister's place, which is close to your flat. You can easily get there and show up early for work."
"I'm not at my sister's house-" I choked up, feeling like crying over my own situation.
Rashi: "Why? Where are you?"
"Rashi, I'm here in my own house-" As soon as I said this, she expressed regret as if she had come to my funeral.
But I also realized that I was in deep shit now.
Rashi: "Okay, just do one thing, talk to Satvik sir. I'm sure there's a way out of this situation."
"Hmm, let me talk to him," I said sadly, realizing that sleep was now far from my eyes. I had to get out of this mess as soon as possible.
Huhhhhh fuckkkk
