Chasing shadows

Those green eyes. I realize I've been staring too long.

"Kieon" a guy calls.

I hurry up and leave going through the back doors to the locker. Focus. Breathe. I warm up on the punching bag. For a few minutes and then I get ready for the arena. Shadow is my stage name when I fight I didn't come up with it. The crowd did because I'm too fast. I love fighting, it helps me know I can protect my sister and win the prize money. I can hear the crowd chanting shadow. I get prepared and change into my wolf form and roll in some mud before heading out.

I spent all my life training and becoming stronger for my sister. In front of me was a person also in wolf form. He had dark brown fur with green eyes. But I can see his back leg bending which meant he was gonna jump at me. Of course, I got him figured out. When he jumped towards me. I moved and grabbed his tail and pulled him down. After fighting with him I made it to top 3. Looking at the moon it was already 1 in the morning. I left at midnight which meant the cake would be done by now. So, I wanted to end this fast. The next wolf did the same, trying to jump towards me but that didn't work. This last fight shouldn't be hard so, let's end it fast. Waiting for my next opponent I smelt chocolate. I hated chocolate but this chocolate smell was different. Next thing I know I'm pinned to the ground.

"Mine" the wolf pinning me down said.

Before I knew it I threw him down and started defending myself. To my surprise I saw a jet black fur wolf with a pair of green eyes. I've never seen a rogue like him. My wolf tried taking control but I pushed it down wanting to just end this fight and head home with the prize money. The wolf with green eyes licked it's lips heading towards me. Just then he jumped towards me and I did the exact thing as the first one by bitting his tail and threw him against the wall. I could hear growls from the crowd. He wasn't alone so I decided to run out of the arena and into the woods. After awhile I changed back into my human form and climb the tree to see if anybody followed me. After waiting for awhile I could hear running. As I watched a pack come out of the trees looking for me. I could tell they were talking to each other using their mind link to communicate. So, I don't hear them. They took off but I could still smell the chocolate. So, I waited and didn't smell it anymore. As I slowly climbed down the tree I stood and closed my eyes. Smelling the things around me tree, owl, moss, and chocolate. I could smell the chocolate again. Before I could turn around I hear growling from around me. My wolf awakening wanting to defend but soon a guy in his human form came from behind a tree. Those green eyes I met with again. Before I knew it I was attacked from behind with a cloth on my face.
I wake up to the bright sunshine through the window. But not my window, jumping up I found myself in a big light grey room sitting on a king sized bed in pajamas. The door soon opened and revealing my mate with no shirt on showing his six pack. I could tell he saw me looking at him. I look away before he could say something. I grab the chair next to a desk and start defending myself. He laughs at me.

"Put it down" he says in his husky voice

"Fuck, no. Who are you?"

"Please, put the chair down. Sweetie"

"Don't call me that. I'm not yours" I growled

His eyes darkened as he started walking my towards me. As fast as I can I threw the chair at him, he dodged it leaving the chair breaking in pieces against the wall. Damn, he's fast. You start grabbing everything on the desk and throwing it at him. He's a god damn terminator at this point. Before I knew he is in front me pinning me against the wall. Jamie, Manny I should've said I'm sorry. Closing my eyes right shut I pray for the goddess to forgive me.
Fireworks set off on my mouth. I barely know the guy and he's kissing me. I try pushing him away but he's too strong. Why does it feel so good. My wolf is purring at the affection wanting more. No, I can't do this. I gotta get home to Jamie.
