CHAPTER 8

"come on aurora you need to be close  with him, so we can achieve our goals" , my mom said to me , I stood there quiet " look just close your eyes and do it for you mom, your the key to open gateway of every good thing thing that would happen in our family . " Mom how can you make me do this, I just can't, his old enough to be my father, dad won't be happy were ever he is -" " exactly his not here because he's dead , he can't come back here because he's dead " I felt tears pour down my face " we have bills to pay and he left us with nothing " my mom continued " don't say that mom, we can sort things out" " exactly we can solve things out if you just have sex with him, your mate are doing it outside and they are gaining nothing but you can gain things, money, properties " " mom I can't " as soon as those words left my mouth my mom slapped me hard on the face "your just a temptation in my womb, I gave birth to an idiotic child, I wish you died not your father" she continued hitting me

"Rora, wake up" I heard some one saying " rora " I opened my eyes and I saw Mandy towering over me "m..Mandy" I called her "yes..am here, it's just a dream" she said to me , then I recalled the dream, it wasn't a dream it was a memory, remembering the memory tears filled my eyes,"no..n..no is not a dream it was real" I said while sobbing. "Oh my poor rora, it's okay am here" I heard Mandy said to me while she hugged me. I remember I wished for someone to tell me when those bad memories were happening to me, with that thought in my head I cried more, I heard Mandy mummering is okay, while she kissed my forehead.

Whe stayed in that position for what felt like hours until me and Mandy fell asleep together. I woke up to a ring on Mandy's phone, she stirred in her sleep while she hugged my eyes, I smiled a little, she's very cute when she's sleeping. But the ringing didn't stop " goddamit!" I heard Mandy curse , she took her phone and saw the caller id and exclaimed"fuck! Am late" she left my arm and went to her room that was across from mine and went to answer the call. I stood up from the bed and went to the bathroom to do my deeds and freshen up for the day. I came out wearing a black tshirt and a grey sweatpants and I dried my hair and tied into a ponytail and made it into a messy bun " rora" I heard Mandy yell my name " coming "  I went to the living room with Mandy with a  short skirt and crop top,and her hair in made in waves as she shoved books in her bag. She looked hot,  how did she do that in short amount of time." yeah, what happened, why are you yelling my name as if there's fire in the kitchen " I said while she rolled her eyes " I made breakfast, it's on the kitchen counter,and on my way to classes am extremely late, so see you later okiee bye love you " she babbled while she kissed my cheeks and left, I was stunned as I heard the front door opened and close. I smiled  and went to the kitchen as I saw freshly made waffles with Mable syrup and a glass of banana milk, again how did she do it in a short amount of time. I grabbed the the breakfast and went to the living room and started eating it.

I heard a ping on my phone and I got a text from Nate, and I think I got butterflies
NATE: you busy
I felt my face flush
ME:Um no... Just at my dorm eating breakfast
I waited for his response while I munched on my waffles
NATE: eating  breakfast at 12 pm
,that means your not busy today
I checked the time and I almost choked on the milk I was drinking, no wonder Mandy was in a hurry
Me: oh my god I think I slept in
Nate: is no problem considering how busy you are you deserve to sleep in
I smiled reading the text
Nate: do you want to hang out with me is ok if you say no
Again I felt those butterflies Again
Me: umm..ok
Nate: really
Me: yep.and don't make me change my mind
I said trying to tease him a little bit
Nate: ok be ready am taking you out
Me: where,  what should I wear?
Nate: it's a surprise and wear something casual

I smiled at my screen and I and went to wear a white top and blue jeans and redid my hair into a messy bun and wore a butterfly necklace and white canvas shoe. Few minutes later I heard the door bell. I don't know why a huge smile came over my face, butterflies spread all over my tummy and my heart started pounding, i was coming closer to the door and straightening my clothes and cleared my voice and finally saw Nate wearing a casual button up brown t-shirt and black jeans that fitted his long legs, and a white Nike shoes, his hair is thrown into bangs that I want to sweep to see his eyebrow piercing. A huge smile is shown in his face. " Hi" he said, I started at his hazel brown doe eyes and found my self melting, " h.hi" I said nervously " you look beautiful" he said making me blush " thanks but I just wore my usual clothes" I said looking away from his gaze. " You always look beautiful today doesn't change anything" he said and I looked at him, and we stared at each other, I coughed " why are you being cheesy today" I said  " am not am just saying the truth " he said I just nodded but the butterflies a still having a party .

Me and Nate are going  to a place we're nte said it was a surprise. " C'mon tell me" I said urging him ever since we headed for the road " your so impatient aren't you aurora " that name " I hate surprises so tell me" I said . He looked at me and smiled " noted for next time" he said as he stared at the road back. is there going to be a next time, I felt my heart race "like there's going to be a next time " I scoffed softly. Few minutes later the car came to a halt " were are we?" I asked .
