Today was the day, the day Yuri kagarin was asked on a date. Yuri didn't know if Yuki had meant it to be a date, but he asked to "go out" with him. Yuri wasn't wearing anything special since they weren't going anywhere special. A nice park by a lake was where Yuki was taking him. Yuri had just made it too the place and honestly, it was pretty. He hadn't seen Yuki yet, but he was assuming he was already here. Of course Yuri was right. "Yuri! Hey!" Yuki waved as he walked up to him. "Hello Yuki." Yuri said with a blank expression. "Aren't you cold?" Yuki asked while looking at Yuri who was wearing a T-shirt. "No, I'll be just fine." Yuri said simply, Yuki nervously laughed. "If you say so.." Yuki hesitantly said as he walked to a picnic table. Yuri followed the orange haired boy with slight hesitation. "Why did you invite me here? Is this your idea of a date?" Yuri simply asked. "Well, uh .. do you not like this kind of thing?" Yuki asked realizing that Yuri was not enjoying this at all. "So this is supposed to be a date then?" Yuri asked as he sat at the picnic table. "Yeah I guess.." Yuki nodded embarrassed that Yuri wasn't into it. "Why would you invite me somewhere so lame?" Yuri asked as he tilted his head. "This is my favorite place to be, so I thought being here with you would make it better." Yuki said as he looked into the lake. Yuri gave him a confused look. "Why?" Yuri asked not understanding what was so great about it. "It's quiet here, I come here to think or to study or to just relax. Not many people come here so it's always calming. It's also very pretty at this time of year." Yuki said while looking at Yuri. "Well I suppose I understand that, it does seem relaxing to be at somewhere without a lot of people." Yuri said as he looked around at the empty park. "Here let's go by the lake." Yuki said while holding a few slices of bread. "Why do you need bread?" Yuri asked as he got up with Yuki and walked near the lake. "To feed the ducks!" Yuki said while he stood next to the lake. "There's some over hear Yuki." Yuri said while he stood at a different spot near the lake. Yuki walked over and gave Yuri a slice of bread. "Here you go." Yuki said as he took a few small pieces and gave them to the ducks. Yuri did the same. "These ducks are cute." Yuri said as he realized he had no more bread. "Yeah and because they hang around such a unpopular park they don't get food often." Yuki said as he threw his last piece of bread into the lake. "Then it's good your here." Yuri said as he smiled. "Hey, wanna go on the swings?" Yuki asked as he started to walk towards them. "Sure, that seems fun." Yuri said as he followed the other boy. Yuki got on one swing and Yuri got on the one next to it. "Hey Yuri, want me to push you?" Yuki said as he got up. "Yeah, I'd appreciate that." Yuri said as Yuki started to push him. Yuri kept going higher and he was laughing in enjoyment, he liked to feel the wind in his hair. "Anything else you'd want to do?" Yuki asked as he was exhausted from pushing Yuri on the swing. "Can we walk on that bridge?" Yuri asked while he got off the swing. "We could, but on the other side is nothing but a Forest." Yuki said as he looked at the old bridge. "I don't want to go over it, I just want to stand on it." Yuri said while he walked over onto the bridge, Yuki followed. They arrived at the bridge and Yuri looked at the sunset. "Do you like the sky Yuki?" Yuri asked, even though it was such a strange question Yuki answered. "Yeah, I like it when I'm here at least. It looks very pretty." Yuki said as he stared into the distance. "Thank you, Yuki" Yuri said out of nowhere. "Huh? What for?" Yuki asked confused. "Bringing me here, it's truly beautiful. Even though I never thought I'd enjoy something so simple, it was fun." Yuri said with a smile as he looked at Yuki. "Yeah, so you liked the date then?" Yuki asked while giggling. Yuri leaned up to Yuki's face and kissed his cheek. "Very much so." Yuki blushed and Yuri started to walk off. "I'd love to go out with you again." Yuri said with a smile. "I'll make sure to plan another date then!" Yuki said nervously. "I'll be looking forward to it." Yuri said as he went to his car. No more words were spoken that night, but they both left with smiles and good memories.
