Hajime Makunouchi was a popular hunter in his town, nothing more, nothing less. He spent his days killing animals and selling there meat. He would hunt all day wash up and go to his favorite restaurant/bar. He'd chat with Yuroko who worked there, they talked about new adventures coming into town and all that stuff. He had an average life, he wasn't out of the ordinary in any way. So why was him of all people in this situation. A boy around his age who's name was Yuri sat at his table, eating food. That wasn't weird but this dude was not a normal guy. He was the demon prince, son of the fucking demon king! The demon king was the most horrifying existence ever, he traumatized anyone he came across. Yuri had lived in the dark relm with him, but not anymore. He ran away from that horrible life and ended up in the woods near hajime's cabin. Hajime had seen him and wanted to run because of the red horns on his head but Yuri followed him and begged him to let him hide here. That's how hajime got here. "This food is great! How'd you cook it in the lava without burning it to a crisp???" Yuri asked curiously. "Lava? I just use a grill." Hajime said confused. "A grill? What's that?" Yuri looked at hajime with lost expression. "Its something that helps cook food without burning it." Hajime said simply not wanting to explain how a grill works to some guy. "Mkay." Yuri said while finishing his plate then.. biting it!?! "Hey! Stop that you'll break the glass!!" Hajime said while taking away his plate. "Do humans not eat glass? Sure it hurts but it's delicious and crunchy when you put salt on it!" Hajime looked at him with an unpleasant expression. He then put a bag of chips in front of the boy "eat these." And Yuri did, his face lit up with pleasure "These are so good! Like glass without cutting my mouth!" He said happily "Yeah, they're called chips." Hajime sat on his couch "Come over here demon boy." He said simply. "Alright?" Yuri said while sitting next to him "Okay, what am I supposed to do with you?" Yuri frowned. "I don't care, make me work, let me help with your job, get me a job or sell me to some villager.. just don't send me back to my dad." Yuri said desperately and Hajime couldn't help but somewhat pity him. Hajime consider things for a minute. "Okay, you'll stay here tonight. Tomorrow we'll go to my friend Mikado and see what he thinks. He's the strongest wizard in the land, he might have a spell to hide those horns." Hajime said knowing that was the best plan despite not wanting to ask Mikado of all people to help. "Alright, thanks hunter man." Yuri said calmly, agreeing to his idea. "Yeah, yeah. By the way, what kinda magic you got? Is it strong?" Hajime curiously asked. "Complex blood control and simple dark magic." Yuri said while relaxing onto hajime's warm couch. "You?" Hajme looked impressed by Yuri's magic but clearly not surprised. "I have simple fire and complex aim, helps with hunting Alot." Yuri looked interested. "Aim magic? How does it work?" Yuri looked curious. "Everytime I miss a shot, I'm guaranteed to get the next 10 spot on." Yuri looked very impressed. "That's so cool!" Hajime looked confused as to why he was so intrigued but shrugged. "Okay Yuri, I have one rule to leaving with me." Yuri looked serious. "What?" He asked focused. "Don't go in public unless we can hide those horns. If the demon king realizes i have his son, I'll be deader then dead." Yuri nodded in acknowledgement. "Okay, I promise." Hajime smiled at that. "I have a question though hajime." Yuri said and hajime looked interested. "Hm?" Yuri pointed to a photo on the wall. "That girl with you in the photo, is she your girlfriend?" Yuri looked seriously curious for a reason hajime did not get. "No, she's a high level mage. Her name is Hibiki. The other one is Iroha, she's a merchant that sells her paintings with the help of a dude named Teruya." Hajime said while watching Yuri as he looked focused. "What about those guys in that picture. Who are they?" Hajime looked at it and answered. "Okay, blue hair is Setsuka, she is a noble that wastes her money on helping others and throwing parties. Next to her is shinji, he's a knight who fights to protect anyone he can. The orange guy and white girl are Sora and Yuki. They're adventures who are settling here." Yuri nodded. "You've got a lot of friends huh.." He looked intrigued yet sad? "What about you, anyone back at home?" Hajime asked Yuri as he looked down. "Not really, but it's whatever. Let's head to bed hajime." Yuri said avoiding the subject. "Alright.. you can stay in my bed with me, let's go upstairs." Hajime said not wanting to carry on a subject that Yuri obviously didn't care for. Yuri and hajime walk up the stairs and into a cozy room, the only bedroom in the house. Hajime lays down and covers himself with blankets. "Yuri, comere." Yuri listens and sits next to hajime, doing the same. "Night, hajime." Yuri said while relaxing into the comfortable bed. "Goodnight Yuri."

Sorry for not updating in awhile but school is ending so I've been busy! I'll probably make another part to this chapter because I love fantasy au but we'll see. Ty all for reading :3
