After what Subaru said to her Yume is conflicted. Is he simply just re-declaring his rivalry or is it something else with a deeper meaning? After clearing up the misunderstanding they start going out but can both of them clear the obstacles put out...
As we stepped into Laura's house, the sheer grandeur of it left us in awe. The high ceilings were adorned with intricate chandeliers, and the polished wooden floors gleamed under the soft glow of the lights. Large windows allowed the golden hues of the late afternoon sun to spill into the spacious living room.
"Wow, Laura, this is like something out of a magazine!" Koharu said, her voice tinged with disbelief as she set her suitcase down carefully.
"It's just a house," Laura replied, brushing off the comment. But the way her lips twitched upward betrayed a hint of pride.
"It's more like a mansion," I muttered under my breath, earning a chuckle from Mahiru.
"Alright, I'll show you to your rooms," Laura announced, turning to lead us down one of the many hallways. "I've arranged for you all to have your own rooms. Thought you'd appreciate the space after being cooped up on a plane."
"Finally, some peace and quiet," Ako sighed dramatically, though her smile gave away her playfulness.
"Careful, Ako, don't overexert yourself walking to your room," teased Mahiru, making everyone burst into laughter again.
Later that Evening
After a much-needed nap and a quick freshen-up, we gathered in the living room, which was even more stunning in the evening. The soft lighting and cozy furniture gave the room a welcoming warmth. Laura had ordered an array of local British food for dinner—fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and an assortment of desserts like sticky toffee pudding and scones.
"This is amazing!" Koharu exclaimed, taking a bite of the fish. "I could get used to this."
"Don't get too comfortable," Laura quipped. "Tomorrow, the real work begins. We've got rehearsals, interviews, and a press meet scheduled. Then from Tuesday to Friday, we have concerts in London, Manchester, Northern Ireland and Wales. Then we leave for Spain on Saturday."
"Way to kill the vibe," Ako said with a pout, but her eyes sparkled with excitement.
I glanced at my phone, my heart skipping a beat when I saw Subaru's name pop up in a notification. He'd sent a picture of himself and the rest of M5 at their hotel in Thailand, along with a short message:
"Miss you already, Tomato. Hope London is treating you well."
I felt my cheeks heat up as I quickly typed a reply: "Miss you too! London is amazing, but it's not the same without you."
Mahiru leaned over my shoulder, catching a glimpse of my screen. "Already texting Subaru, huh?" she teased, her tone lighthearted.
"Mahiru!" I protested, trying to hide my phone.
"Relax, Yume, it's cute," she said with a grin as everyone joined in teasing me. This ended with us having a pillow fight.
The Next Day
London greeted us with a crisp morning breeze and an overcast sky. Despite the chill, the city buzzed with life. Laura had arranged for a car to take us to the rehearsal venue, but before that, she insisted we grab a quick breakfast at a local café she loved.
"This place has the best English breakfast," she said as we entered the quaint little café. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods filled the air.
"Isn't a full English breakfast a bit heavy before rehearsals?" Mahiru asked, eyeing the menu skeptically.
"Trust me, you'll need the energy," Laura replied with a smirk.
As we ate, the conversation turned to the upcoming performances and the challenges of adapting to a new audience. It was exciting but nerve-wracking at the same time.
"London is just the beginning," Koharu said, her voice filled with determination. "We're going to show Europe what FUTURE is all about."
"And when M5 joins us, it'll be even more epic," I added, my heart already counting down the days until the collaboration tour.
We all exchanged smiles, feeling a renewed sense of excitement for the journey ahead. London was only the first stop, but it was clear this tour was going to be the beginning of FUTURE's international success. This experience was gonna be an unforgettable one.
