Chapter 3: The Princess and a Cra, and saving Emelka!

As we ran past a few trees in the forest we heard the screams getting closer. Once we arrived, we see to figures surrounded by a few Polters. The Polters were trying to reach a female Cra sitting on a dragoturkey trying to calm the creature down while a female Sadida tries to climb on a tree branch by using her doll (Which is alive.) and her dragoturkey which was already turned into a bush. "What in the world do they want from us!?" The Sadida girl asked while pulling herself on the tree branch. "What I wanna is... Woah woah!" The Cra pauses while still trying to calm the dragoturkey down. "Why did I go along with this crazy plan?" The Cra says before shooting at one of the Polters with her bow. "Of course they're friendly!" She says in sarcasm. "And you call yourself an adventurer?" She asks. "Yeah, but we all make mistakes, right" The Sadida asks turning to her friend glaring. Just then, Percedal jumps out of the bushes then swinging his sword at the Polters. Some of the Potlers got scared at Percedal's actions then retreated into the trees. Right after that, Percedal then made weird moves that made the Cra raise an eyebrow. Jolly and I jumped out of the bushes to join the battle and attacked the remaining Polters. While we were doing that the Sadida who is still standing on a branch, turned her head to see a Polter on the branch about to get her. "Filthy creatures! They're everywhere!" She says before stepping back. Yugo then used a portal to get on the branch, and when he is on it, he used another portal to warp the Polter to the ground. The Polter then scurried around confused of what just happened, then turned to Percedal, me, and the Cra. When it was getting closer, the Cra's dragoturkey got scared, threw the Cra off its back before running away. Then before the Cra hit the ground, Percedal then caught her carrying her bridle style. 'Why do I fell a hint of jealousy in me right now?' I think to myself before turning back to the last Polter. Just before it reached us, Ruel the smashed it with his shovel. Yugo warped back to us as the Sadida girl walked toward us. "I believe that we already met." Ruel says. "Ruel Stroud, your humble servant. And this is the intrepid Sir Percedal, renowned warrior knight, Y/N, the Bounty Hunter, and this is Yugo, the adopted son of my best friend." Ruel says while pointing at each of us before lastly pointing at Yugo. "The Polters turned his father into a shrub, along with the rest of the village. We're too find out why, and hopefully find a cure." "Well, my name is Evangelyne. And this is Amalia. We're on a pilgrimage together." Eva explains. "And what are two pilgrims doing in the Forbidden Forest, If I may be so bold to ask?" Ruel asks. "The same as you! Two nights ago, I had a prophetic dream." Amalia explains. "Sadida told me to go the Forbidden Forest for a special mission. So, we were destined to meet each other and follow the same path!" Amalia then turns to Eva. "Even if some people think my imagination is overactive." "Like whom?" Percedal asks. "Someone has to be realistic, do they?" Eva asks while Percedal nods. "Cool the more of us there are, the better the chance of saving my village. " Yugo says while Az chirps happily. Jolly then walked over to Eva and Amalia, nudging his head on their legs. "Awww, so adorable! And who might you be sweet thing?" Amalia looks at in happily before picking him up and petting him. "I don't think I've seen a creature like you before." Eva says then petting him two while Jolly purrs. "He's mine I found him 5 months ago and he is still a young cub, me and him have been going on adventures together, plus he's a Manticore." I said before they both look at me with wide eyes. "A Manticore, amazing! I heard these creatures are an endangered species." Amalia says excitedly. "I heard rumors that Ogrests chaos caused them to be endangered." Eva exclaims while Amalia places Jolly back down. " Yeah, Ruel told me about them being endangered because of Ogrest, but I'm just lucky I met the little guy." I say as Jolly turns to me. "Anyway, we should go and find out why the Polters were attacking." I spoke. Everyone nodds before walking ahead. I felt someone watching me and I turn to see Percedal looking at me while smiling and blushing. I then roll my eyes smiling before walking too. "Hey Romeo, take it easy! It's not as if she's a princess now, is it? " Rubilax ask looking at me. Percedal did not respond, he was still looking at me. "You coming Percy?" I ask. "Huh, OH yeah wait for me!" Percedal snaps out of it and runs ahead of me. I laughed and ran to catch up with him as Jolly follows.
