Russian Bastion: Serdtse Revolyutsii,
The year 2173.
Street lights flickered as purple lightning lingered in the air, burning out as the power was drawn to a converging point elsewhere. An ominous orange glow of crackling flames stained the Russian Bastion as the dust from crumbling buildings burst from their snapping support beams. A flash of light erupted from the shattered windows of shadowed buildings as all the electricity was rapidly drained from their sockets and powerlines.
"I choose who I want to be."
Lydia's electrified titanium fist split Karishma's lip as a tooth cracked with her right hand around her neck, driving her through a wall of a towering apartment complex-
SMASH!
"This endless labyrinth humanity has been stuck in-"
CRACK!
POP!
Karishma broke free of her grip, soaring like a flying bullet away from her, eyes locked onto her flashing eyes of bursting lightning, using her violet energy to break the walls around her, caving in the ceiling of the evacuated apartment complex-
"-driven in endless circles back where we are doomed to begin."
CRASH!
A surge of electric energy exploded from all corners of Lydia's body, vaporizing the crumbling pieces of the debilitating walls into dust as she screamed out through gritted teeth-
"I choose who I want to be."
-She bolted forward, chaining lightning down from the cables connecting to light fixtures, conjuring the wrath of the heavens through lightning like Zeus himself, sending fissures through the ground like earthquakes straight for Karishma.
"I'll show you the monster you truly are, Child of Blight."
"NOW YOU DIE!" Karishma shouted, darting past the bar of pure lightning, weaving over the strikes she snapped from her fingertips, twisting her body to evade the flashing chain of lightning scraping her legs, narrowly dodging the attempt to hit her abdomen like an acrobat, straight for Lydia-
CRACK!
-Lydia soaked a jab to the stomach as Karishma swept her legs, floating on a spinning pivot, carried by her psychic energy. As Lydia fell to the ground, she caught Karishma's face in her cybernetic hand, slamming her into the ground-
"This is the only way it could've ended."
CRASH!
The marble ground shattered underneath Karishma as Lydia pinned her down-
CRACK!
CRACK!
POP!
-Wailing on her with punch after punch as she broke her nose, caved in her eye underneath her metallic snapping knuckle mechanisms. Karishma screamed in pain, grabbing Lydia by her shirt, throwing her head forward as she picked up pointed pieces of shattered marble-
CRACK!
-Smashing her forehead over Lydia's as she plunged the marble shards towards Lydia's back-
SHUNK!
SHUNK!
SHUNK!
Three massive shards buried into her back, spurting blood upon entire as they tore through her flesh. Adrenaline numbed her. Lydia threw her entire weight down as she sent a chop with her titanium cybernetic hand to the right side of Karishma's collar bone-
