We were standing at the main door of Kumawat Mansion as his mom was doing our aarti and all the relatives were all smiling at us. After slightly pushing the small bronze pot filled with rice, I stepped in big plate filled with red liquid and then stepped on white sheet spread on the floor.
As the ritual ended we both were made to sit on the two respective stools on the either side of a mini table. Oh man! I know this ritual, Naina came and placed a big bowl filled with milk and rose petals. His mom came towards us and smiled at me softly which I returned her smiling. "Beta this ring..." she said and showed us a beautiful ring.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS RING DOING IN YOUR HAND? HOW DARE YOU TOUCH IT?" Anirudh's voice roared as soon as Mom showed us the ring. All the relatives were looking confused at his sudden yell.
But before he can say anything more Agastya stopped him in middle, "Bhai dad gave her this before going to the palace saying give this to bhabhi when she comes home as Mrs Kumawat" he said and I looked around my father in law isn't here he went to his room to take rest I guess.
"Anirudh I am sorry if it made you angry but your father only asked me to give this to her, he said now Soumya is the rightful owner of this" mom said and he just stared at her for sometimes before looking away.
She sighed softly and put the ring in the bowl and stirred it, "okay now find the ring both of you and who ever wins will have upper hand in this marriage but who ever wins later you have to make her wear this ring on her right hand finger" she said and sat back in her place.
We both dipped our hand in the bowl to search the ring, I can't lose to him not at any cost. He wasn't searching for ring his hand was still in the bowl, I looked up at him and saw him looking at me with his usual blank face. I again focused on finding the ring and my fingers touched something like metal and I clutched it and brought it up and everyone clapped.
"yay bhabhi you won, I knew it hehe, bhaiya I thought you didn't like losing but see now" Naina said and side hugged me. Okay Naina is great person I guess and I am kinda like her as my sister in law. Anirudh didn't say anything and we again dipped our hand in the bowl, as I again felt something like metal , I clutched it.
