CHAPTER 2

SPARKLE POV

After the morning roasting session by my mother and Luna, I got ready and had my breakfast. Of course, in our household it is literally impossible for anyone to leave home without meal. No one would want to mess with my mother in this regard. Having suffered from malnutrition and tuberculosis twice in her life, she made it her personal goal to never allow family members to skip meals. The whole pack is well fed, thanks to her.

I definitely don't want the constant 1 hour nagging which is the after effect of escaping meals. So, I decided to hurry and stuff everything as soon as possible. It didn't help. I ended up choking. Nevertheless, I somehow finished and left to my school.

The second division of East High is much different than the Omega. It's obvious that this one will be bigger as it has more students. Moreover, the facilities were also top notch. It has such a big playground, library and the most amazing, laboratories. I am a die hard science enthusiast so, laboratory is the one that I'm most interested in.

Anyways, today is a beautiful day and I know it's gonna be hectic. How in the world can I manage as an Alpha, pretend to be a Beta when I spent my whole life being an Omega. Speaking of which I don't even know what Betas can or cannot do. I'm wondering if I should take some help from mom. Nevermind, she has so much work. I don't want to add to her stress. My brother may help me but he has his Alpha training so it's also a no no. Lastly, my father...he can probably help me. He knows the best about my situation. FINALLY, the end of this mental discussion... I'll ask dad for help.

O hell no...I was already late. If don't speed up, I'm going to face one hell of punishment. Today is more like my first day than yesterday. The just took some physical test yesterday to check if I was fit to join the school. I'm glad that it was yesterday. If it happened today, I would not be able to hide my secret. Whatever happens, happens for good only. Hakuna matata.

I ran and somehow, I ended up reaching the school at last minute. WOW. Just wow. Alpha abilities definitely helps.

Okay Spark, you are good and you are gonna ace it. Every new beginning brings new opportunities. Try your best. Work harder. Make parents proud of you.

YAAAHH. Enough of this people talk. You're not nervous. You ARE not nervous. Come on.

Sparkle entered into the building and asked a staff the location of Principal's office. The staff gave her the directions. As she approached the principal's office, she found out that someone was already in the cabin. She waited nervously, thinking about all the possible things that could go wrong and how she sha to manage herself. After a good 5 minutes, a tall, brown-eyed, athletic build and dark-browned haired boy emerged out of the office. The personality of the boy screamed dominance even from miles away. The boy looked like an alpha, heck, Spark could tell he was an alpha.

 Shimmer, her wolf, told her that she is fairly new with her wolf so, she's just like a toodler without any knowledge. Shimmer urged her to bond better, after all, they were one.

She entered the Principal's office and asked for schedule. The Principal S. P. Ruther was average height, dark brown and pleasantly fat. He sat behind a large semi-circular table and as it seemed was frustrated. Maybe, something to do with the earlier boy, Shimmer chimed. Maybe.

Shimmer then went on saying that the principal does not look friendly at all. He seemed more of a villainous type, if you know what I mean. Honestly, the school didn't look friendly. 

Her earlier school was much more soft in vibes and people, excluding her bullies of course.

On her request, the principal looked up and down assessing her, judging her. Sparkle Michael Collins was nothing like a goddess but she was beautiful. Dark brown hair, dark brown seemingly black eyes, pleasant height, medium built with the dream hourglass body. She was unique but more of ordinary.

" You're the girl whose wolf changed into beta, well good for you. You should be happy that atleast you are not a disgrace on your family, not anymore. Sparkle Michael Collins right?", asked the principal.

" Well, young Lady, welcome to the East High for the strong. This school is nothing like your previous school. We don't tolerate indiscipline. You must follow all the rules here or I would like to hand over your School leaving certificate. Now, you may go and join your classes." said the principal.

"Yup, definitely an evil principal", Shimmer said. "I am more worried than ever Shimmer." "You got me, chill".

Joining a new school shouldn't be so difficult.
