The warmness that had spread across his body was now gone, and the feeling of having something drip down his stomach was also. He could move his neck, muscles still stiff but still being able to. He lifted himself up from the cold table with his hands supporting him, rubbing his eyes and looking around the room. It was a hospital room, with no one else in it, empty tables and beds that were lined next to each other like train tracks. He gazed at his body, not quite sure why and why he'd need to look at his body, who was he? He looked at his hand, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary, nor were his legs or supposedly everything else. He had long hair that easily cascaded down to his lower back, odd, why did he have long hair?
He got up from the table, not dressed in anything, leaning against the nearby bed for support, knees and legs weak. He took calm breaths, taking a step forward, why did walking feel so difficult? He looked forward to see a door that was open, there was a number on the door.
"111"
He repeated the number in his head, possibly just the way to know which room patients must have been in. He stepped forward again, stepping on something cold and wet, it was blood that had left it's traces on his foot, he panicked, quickly jumping aside and putting his hand against the door frame. Wiping the blood away with his hands and rubbing the excess blood against the door handle, letting out a heavy sigh and gazing back at the dimly lit and messy room he was about to leave.
He didn't bother opening the door and just walked trough the small crack, laying his eyes on the corridor and it's length, there were multiple doors like the one he came from with all of them having different numbers. It was definitely a hospital. He looked left and right, clearly seeing movement in the other direction, it was absolutely someone! He thought.
Quickly walking towards the other person, his hand still against the wall for support, walking had gotten already a little easier. Was he given something to make him not move? He approached the figure that was crouching on the cold floor, he was happy to possibly understand better what was going on. He was now only a few steps away from the person, he sighed in relief, looking down at them, they were now standing up.
They said something, what? Whatever he heard was completely disoriented, almost like there were multiple people mumbling at the same time. A screech, quiet but still something that made his ears hurt, it turned around to face him.
Not it, they.
