RadioApple - A deal I don't regret

Chapter 10

     Lucifer turned his head over his shoulder. His eyes filled with tears, dripping down the sides of his face. His horns and tail retracted, as everything around him faded into oblivion. He rushed to Alastor’s side holding Alastor’s hand.

     "Alastor don't go stay with me... youll be okay... I'll save you," Lucifer struggled to get those words out. Charlie helped Lucifer carrie Alastor to their room.

     "Dad, what can we do I... I don’t know what to do..." Charlie couldn't stop crying fearful of what might happen to Alastor. "Well ill just make good on my deal." "Deal...?" Charlie had no idea what he was talking about.

     Lucifer removed his goves, showing his pale white scar written arms. He took a knife from his bed side drawer, opening Alastor’s mouth he cut his wrist letting his blood pore into Alastor’s mouth.

     Charlie couldn't believe what she was seeing. "Dad, tell me how you two got .... close", her eyes fell on her father's face, him panicked and crying. "Char-Char please get me some surgical wrap from my bathroom" he spoke in a soft tone, barely audible.

      Charlie bringing him the wrap, layed it on the bed. He finished giving his blood to heal Alastor, he wrapped his arm, and cleaned up Alastor, who was still unconscious. His breathing steady but his heart rate slow.

     "Dad, I need to know everything about your relationship with mo-, Lilith and Alastor," Charlie spoke with a stern voice. "You have the right to know, after everything that has perspired here today.

     Lucifer, not wanting to leave Alastor’s side, pulled up 2 chairs, and they both sat down. "This isn't easy to tell you, I didn't want you to hate your mom because of this but, the cats out the bag now so...," his eyes locked with Charlie's.

     "A little over 7 years ago, Heaven made a deal offer. The deal to allow the extermination. Adam a Sara where the ones who came to make the deal. They gave me 2 mouth to answer, and in exchange you and Lilith could preside in heaven. I, knowing I would never be forgiven by you or my people, I was going to say no. But it was to late. Your mother had taken the deal"

     Charlie's eyes filled with tears. "She abandoned us..." "to put it bluntly yes, she abandoned... us". "And what about you and Alastor", she asked her eyes drifting to where Alastor lay.

     "It started with a deal, one I made for you... he was going to die, Adam had sliced right through his chest. He was being so stubborn, so I made a deal he help me and alow me to help him and exchange he could have my blood... "

     "Our relationship grew from there since we sent more time just us two, and the foundness grew," Lucifer grew a soft smile and his eyes fell to the floor. "I don't regret making the deal, but I do regret allowing him to get hurt,"

     "Dad, it's not your fault," Charlie stood to her feet and huge him. "I'm gonna go clean get niffty and help her clean the mess downstairs, you can just stay here with AL, make sure he's okay wand safe" she smiled before leaving the room.

     Once she was gone, he broke down and started crying. Sat by the bed on the floor holding on to Alastor’s hand, soaking it with his tears. He felt as if his heart was ripping apart inside out. After a few minutes Lucifer had fallen asleep at his side.

     It had been 3 days since the incident. Alastor still hadn't awoken, and Lucifer’s mentality had worsen. He wasn't eating, barely sleeping, and he was giving Alastor bits of blood for meals.

     Sitting in the corner of the room by the bed, Lucifer was reading a book aloud. Evey so often glancing at Alastor. He had made it halfway through the book when he felt a sudden movement in the room he had noticed Alastor’s hand had moved.

     His eyes lit up. He had bought Alastor woke up, but as he sat next to him on the bed, he was still asleep. His face dropped on to Alastor’s chest. He hated this feeling, he couldn’t stop crying. Then he felt something. A hand on his back, "I was enjoying that book". Alastor was looking down at him.

     Lucifer wrapped his arms around Alastor, holding on tight. "You look terrible" Alastor remarked holding Lucifer’s tear soked face. "I don't care, all that matters is your awake," Lucifer spoke with the biggest smile on his face.

      Alastor kissed Lucifer, wiping away his tears. "Dad, I brought you some-" Charlie walked I seeing Alastor awake. Setting the food, she had brought for Lucifer, to the side, she ran and gave them both a big hug. "Finally, I have both my dads back," she said crying.

    "You two are so alike, such cry babies," Alastor joked, holding them both close. The air felt softer and the felt like a true family.
