RadioApple - A deal I don't regret

Chapter 11

     "I'll go tell everyone your awake, and I'll get a huge dinner ready," Charlie leaped to her feet full of energy. Lucifer just sat and stared at him, his face containing a dopy smile.

     "Keep staring your eyes might pop out of your head" Alastor joked sitting up to get out of the bed. "I've just missed my fiance," Lucifer kisses Alastor helping him put of bed to get ready.

     It didn't take long for Alastor to be functioning like his normal self. This mad Lucifer so happy. Though the better he felt, the less focus was on his pain and more on how bad Lucifer looked.

     "Lucifer, you look so tired and fatigued, are you alright," he asked holding Lucifer close by his waist. "Of course I'm okay" why should I not be." Alastor leaned over kissing Lucifer on his forehead.

     They both walked hand in hand down the hall, making their way to the lobby. "Holy shit, deer man is actually awake," Angle said watching the 2 walk through the lobby to the bar for some non-alcoholic drinks. Both getting tea, and going and sitting on the couch.

     They joined in a conversation with Husk and Angel. Lucifer wouldn't let go of Alastor’s had, he found it cute protective Lucifer was being. Though it was understandable why. He couldn’t hide the blush that was forming on his face as he thought about Lucifer. They made eachother happy, and that was clear to everyone around them.

     Dinner time came around, and the table was filled with happy chatter. "So have you guys decided when yalls wedding is," Vaggie asked, taking a bite of her food.

     "We have it planned for a few months from now. We want it in spring, and we also want to have some time to prepare everything. Its still September so it gives us enough time, the wedding will most likely be in April." Lucifer rambled on.

    "Let's do a movie night tonight,"Charlie shouted. "Yeah we should do scary movies this time" Lucifer suggested. "I to you for a Rom- com kind of guy" angel said in a sarcastic tone. "More like tragic rom-com" Husk added teasingly. "For your information I love scary movies," he replied, with a salty attitude.

     Once dinner was over, everyone picked out snacks and drinks and they decided on a 'Chucky' marathon for tonight's movie night. All huddled up it was like a triple date, Nifty being a 7th wheel, sh didn't mind though. Lucifer wasn't a wimp as they thought he'd be, but he did squeeze Alastors hand when he got jump scared. Alastor kissing his forehead when everyone wasn't looking, Charlie snuck a pic or two some how.

      Once 'Bride of Chucky' was over, that's when people started getting tired, Lucifer, not having slept well recently, being the most tired. He and Alastor held hands as they mad their way to their room. Lucifer leand on Alastor as they walked. His tiredness made the walk down the hall feel longer.

     He didn't mind though, he was with is love. And he was falling more and more in love with each and every  moment they where together. Getting in to the room, Lucifer changed out of his outfit, and crawled in to bed just in duck covered boxers. Alastor having a bit more energy putting on pajamas, befor crawling into bed. Lucifer wrapped himself around Alastor, cuddling him throughout the night.

     This was the first time in 3 days, Lucifer was able to sleep as peacefully as he used to. Alastor not being able to sleep due to not being tired to tired, just held, and watch Lucifer, while attempting to fall asleep. This feeling warmed his heart, he hoped for this feeling to last, alongside this moment.

     Over time the thoughts drifting around his head, sent him drifting to sleep. Dreams consuming the night. Just to disappear from thought in the morning. Alastor dreaming of the first 'I love you', and Lucifer dreaming of the 'I do'.

     The next morning, Lucifer looked a lot less like death. He woke up befor Alasor so he took a shower and started getting ready. While bringing his teeth he got a good scare from Alastor, hoping out of the shadows behind him. Jumping back into Alastor, Alastor wrapped his arms around Lucifer. Laying his head on Lucifer's shoulder, "Good morning, my king," he mummered in a low tone. "Good morning, bambi," Lucifer smiled leaning in to the embrace.

     Once again, that warm feeling filled the air.

"I love you" -Alastor

               "I love you too" -Lucifer
