Welcome everyone. Thank you for choosing this book, I'll try my best to entertain you with it. This is a book that has connections to characters from my other books (Hasratein and Taqdeer). Though this is a complete standalone and can be read on its own.

This book is a childhood academic rivals to lovers but that is nowhere all. Please check all the tags before starting to read it. This book has certain supernatural elements but not vampires or werewolves or whatever else we consider 'hot' on Wattpad. This book has dark themes, myths, old legends, cults and curses.

Any similarities with real people and situations is a complete coincidence and I by any chance or means do not wish to hurt anyone's sentiments. This story is completely fictional. Please do not draw parallels from reality (though I doubt there would be any parallels)

The violent themes in this book will not be depicted graphically. They would just be mentioned on page and are in no way or form glorified. The wrongs in this story are only mentioned so they can be avenged in future and are in no terms supported by me. Wrong is wrong! It will remain wrong. Considering the recent events of the country I have decided to remove certain things from the plot which were not to be glorified even before but will not even be mentioned. This is a difficult time and I do not wish to associate with themes that could be a trigger. The story mostly remains unchanged but I have decided to make certain changes to the plot to fit the situation and times better while still being relevant to the story. Any form of sexual act performed in this book (by the main and second leads) is consensual and will remain that way. Non consensual sex is not and never will be promoted in my stories.

Just so it doesn't get very confusing in the future, I would like to mention some things about the story.

-This story is set in an imaginary place called Mount Palacia. This is an island a little west of Central America. The island has a dead volcanic mountain and has been inhabited by a tribe of people who are known more their magic and connection to the supernatural world. This island holds only one university that teaches regular subjects and not magic. It's a renowned university and people from all over the world go there to study.

-This story has one lead couple that the story revolves around. However, it will also have some chapters or just mentions about the stories of two other characters that would be introduced further on. It is by no means a multi-couple, though it will have more than one couple's story.

-This book mentions reincarnation and hence there will be flashbacks to the previous lives and their story as well.

-I cannot certainly say how long this book is going to be. But I want to include a lot of elements and stories into one, so I am guessing it would be longer than my usual ones. Still can't say for sure.

-This book will make you laugh with the enemies banter and it contains enemies who don't instantly fall for each other. Nor have they ever once liked each other before. They truly loathe each other and their relationship will grow eventually.

-This book contains seriously dark themes. There will be depictions of actual gore and gruesome deaths. Necrophilia is actually disturbing so I won't be writing about it in detail but it will be mentioned. The society is this book is corrupt, disgusting and driven by a blind cult so do not ignore the warnings if you think you cannot stomach any of these. Warnings for Rape and sexual assault are also there, please do not ignore them.

-Lastly, this book contains characters with different religious backgrounds and ethnicity. The main guy is half Hindu and half Muslim. I am not a religious person and don't know much about them either. Hence, religion would not be mentioned in the book. So I would request everyone to keep that in mind and not get offended. The main girl is Indian with some Korean ancestry. The ancestry is not directly connected to her, both her parents are Indian but she has those genes and hence has Asian features. My intention is to not hurt or stereotype anyone, so I apologise in advance if I write something that might not seem culturally appropriate. I try my best to do my research but I'm still human and I might miss some things. Out of the other two people, the guy is British and the girl is French. I am hoping that won't be a problem.
