Chapter 1

Jenny's Pov

Another day in this freaking hell hole i have been trying to get my mother to look at me for the last couple of years and she still hasn't figured it out. The thing inside my body is not me and this is so frustrating from this side since i cant help but scream from all the unaccomplished tries that i have done. I look behind me and scream loudly when a scary demon pops up and tries to grab me so i can become its prisoner i run like crazy trying to find a safe space so i can try and think of what to do next. I find shelter in a corner where its surrounded by boxes from the living side and it helps to conceal me from the demon. I cover my ears and close my eyes shut tight and pull my legs in close to my body to try and be as small as possible so it wont see me or find me. I take in small breaths and relax my body so i wont send out my scared scent i breath in and out once twice three times and im finally relaxed enough to try and open my eyes a bit. I see the demon run past me and i release the breath i was holding in i get up slowly and dust my white dress off and walk slowly back to where i was trying to get my family to listen to me.

I haven't introduced myself im so sorry my name is Jenny and im 17 i died from a heart failure and now im here in this place where i hate it so much each day each second i try to get my family to see me but it doesn't work. You see my family did something to my body when they found out i died instead of calling the ambulance and having a funeral they took my lifeless body down to the basement. They drew a huge pentagon on the floor and laid my body on it they put white candles on each point of the star and my father who is a know witch got this ancient book out and flipped through the pages. When he stopped on one and started saying some weird words in a language i dont know and the pentagon started to glow my body lifted into the air and some black smoke wrapped around me. I cried and yelled and tried to get their attention for them to stop because after that a bad demon smiled evilly at me and slipped into my body i froze for a second there just crying not knowing what to do. Since then i have been trying to let them know that it wasn't me who was with them the thing in me wants to try and kill them so his buddies on this side can cross over i heard them say it.

I looked at my mom who was smiling so much at the not me and gave her a hug and a kiss all while that thing was looking right at me and smiling once again evilly i was so scared of it though because it wasn't human. I sighed and turned around and walked to go see my little brother and sister playing in their rooms laughing and enjoying each others company. But their smiles stopped when that thing came into their rooms i stood in front of them to try and protect them from it i was a bit scared but they were my littles babies. It smiled and walked away i turned back around and saw them looking at me but they were to young to even talk so they laughed and stuck out their tiny hands up in the air for me to hold them. I smiled and kneeled down watching them play i couldn't help but cry at the fact that i will never be able to touch them from here or to talk to them either. I got up and went to see my dad who was in the basement once more and was experimenting on a toad with a spell he created himself i saw the toad turn into a dude and then it popped into glitter i laughed at his mistake.

The book he used to try and revive me was out so i took this opportunity and flipped the book open and made sure it was on the same page he used to revive me he freaked out and turned to look at the book. I saw him physically gulp and ran out of their so quickly that i didn't have time to run after him because as i was going up stairs the demon that chased me was right in front of me i froze for a second and it was all it needed to catch me. I cried and threatened it and screamed for help but to no use it took me to the darkest part of whatever place this is and threw me up against the wall pulled my hands up and chained me there and it did the same to my feet. I was shaking and crying begging it to let me go it just smiled and turned away from me walking till it vanished i looked around and saw that i was in an abandoned building. I screamed at cried but to no use i let my head fall as i started to give up hope but i heard whispers coming from outside the building i tried to look around but didn't see anyone. Then a bright light shined right in my face but knew whoever this was didn't see me since i was dead i heard them say that we were in Kansas my eyes widened and i screamed really loud. The boys stopped in their tracks and then they said hello again but my energy was running low i looked at them and tried to pull the chains to make a small noise. I heard them freak out and then they ran out scared of whatever i did i sighed and let the tears fall down once again knowing that i wont ever get out of here.
