❝IS IT OKAY IF I BRING [NAME] WITH US, SAYAKA?

Makoto asked Sayaka as he pointed back at the [h/c]-haired person who put on a customer service-like smile and waved at the bluenette, who paused for a minute in thought as she stared at the two.

"I mean, it's better to stick together, right? I wouldn't anything bad to happen to either of you..." He began to reason, afraid Sayaka would deny it, but she merely cut him and nodded.

"No, no. It's okay, they can come. I agree with you," Sayaka smiled and began to lead the duo around the school, occasionally stopping to greet the others who lingered about.

Eventually, they all reached the GYM ENTRYWAY, looking at the things on display. Makoto pointed out the gold sword replica, but within touching it, a bunch of gold sparkles brushed off onto his hand and the floor, making a golden mess.

Sayaka decided not to take it, and then Makoto proclaimed she didn't need one, because he'd be there to protect her, shocking her before she smiled at him.

"Don't make promises to easily, Naegi." [NAME] spoke up after being silent the entire time, making Makoto flinch because he hadn't expected them to speak up, but he looked at them curiously, as did Sayaka.

"You can only protect her if you're always with her. I hope you won't be following her like a lost puppy," They teased with a smile on their face as they observed the brunet become flustered. Even Sayaka giggled a little, fueling the boy's embarrassment. "Also, I'm not sure you can fight off anyone here with that stature of yours."

"Stop poking at me..." He whined as he covered his face with his hands, ears beet red from his two companions playing with him.

After calming down and letting the poor brunet come down from his fluster, it was silent. Sayaka and Makoto entered a conversation of what to do or if they had to talk, but [NAME] had tuned it out, caring less for their supposed heartfelt conversation.

That was, until Sayaka yelled out, "I can't afford to be stuck in here!"

This, caught [NAME]'s attention, turning to look at the now frazzled bluenette. Before Makoto could comfort her, or she could return to her calm stature, they spoke up.

"Does that mean you're actually considering the Graduation Clause?"

The room grew tense. Sayaka seemed more like a hollow doll, Makoto looked shocked at the idea of Sayaka even considering it, and [NAME] was extremely excited to hear her answer, despite their poker face.

"Ah, no. I mean I'll keep looking for exits." Sayaka tilted her head as a blank smiled appeared on her face before she apologized, "Sorry for complaining. I really brought the mood down, huh?"
