Chapter X

"Now...who hurt my baby-sister?", Kai asked as he was seated next to Y/N, both cuddled up in a blanket while watching the newest horror-movie to cheer Y/N up.

"Remember Izana?"

"Of course I do. Why?"

"He's still alive..."

"But he died two years ago, did he not?"

"Apparently he was only in a coma and came back three months afterwards..."

"But you attended his funeral."

"That was fake, he was alive all along...and not once did he reach out to me. He left me believing he had died! You know how miserable I was the past two years, all because of him!"

"Why would he lie to you like that?"

"I don't know... but seems like he's very happy with his new gang."

Y/N grumbled, shoving another spoon of chocolate-chip mint ice-cream down her throat.

Her eyes were completely puffy and red by now, just as her nose and cheeks were reddened by the crying she had been through, sniffling and rubbing her nose while still shaking while breathing.

She had cried for four hours, cried with no end, she was so miserable and Kai wanted nothing more than to go out and go rogue on Izana and all those who had kept this secret from her. He had already informed her teacher about her being absent for a bit.

He would slaughter everyone who dared to make Y/N cry.

But he had held himself back.

Because now, Y/N needed him more than his bloodshed.

"I just don't understand why", Y/N cried out, "Why would he hide it from me? Does he not love me anymore? I never stopped loving him!"

Kai just listened, he did not speak, he just listened as his little sister poured her heart out.

After almost sixteen-years of having a younger sister and almost three years of her being a teenager he somewhat had understood how teenage-girls ticked.

And the best thing he could do for her now, was be there for her. All her heart-break had just come back.

"I can go to his house and bash his brain in, if that'll cheer you up", Kai offered, taking a sip of his whiskey.

He grimaced as his little sister just sobbed harder.

"Look little miss murder", Kai started, "You know I deal with emotions and grief as good as you. But I'm here for you. Always. If you need me, you call me. I'll always get you out of trouble and will always kill for you. When you said you wanted to go to UA, I was mad, but I signed every paper for you. If you tell me you want to leave UA, I'll sign every paper. If you want to leave this country, I'll get us a house wherever you want. But you need to tell me. What is it really that bothers you?"

Y/N sniffled as she looked at her older brother, almost shocked to see a reflection of herself.

"I...", she started, voice quivering for the first time she could remember, "The thought of him having other girls. The thought of him being able to hide from me for two years. He told me he loved me! And I, stupid girl, believed him. That's what bothers me, that he could move on and forget me this easily. While I'm here, sobbing, even two years later!"

"Why is everybody screaming?", Eri's timid voice asked, holding her messily sown plushie (given to her and made by Y/N as a present), while rubbing her eye with the other hand.
