Hogwarts

(update! thank you guys for sticking with me! here's another chapter. a bit boring, but something better will come out next time!)

Soon, the train was pulling into Hogsmeade station. There was the usual confused talking and clattering of people getting their luggage. Y/n had gone back to her seat, got her book and luggage, and the left the train. 

The trail to Hogwarts was packed with students, and Y/n heard a familiar voice.

"Firs' years this way!"

Y/n smiled. It was the Hogwarts Game Keeper. 

"Evening Hagrid!" Y/n said, walking up to him.

"Evenin' Y/n! You been all righ'?"

Y/n smiled. 

"Never been better." She replied.

Y/n walked away, and Hagrid went back to calling first years.

While Y/n was walking, the Golden Trio called her over.

"Y/n! Y/n!" 

Yelled Hermione. 

When Y/n realized it was Hermione, she walked towards the Golden Trio, still smiling. She was so happy she finally had friends.

When they reached The Great Hall, it had its normal floating candle's and bewitched ceiling.

The staff table was the same, except for Remus in the D.A.D.A teachers seat. Y/n and the Golden Trio all sat together at the table

Suddenly, a cold, sneering voice was heard behind them.

"Potter!"

Y/n turned around and realized it was Draco Malfoy, the blond daddy's boy who would never leave her alone.

"Is it true you fainted? Like actually fainted?"

The 5th year sitting next to him made a fainting gesture.

"Hey Black," Malfoy said, still sneering. "Looking good there." Malfoy winked at her, but Y/n just rolled her eyes and turned around. As did the boys.

After the first years got sorted, Dumbledore called for silence.

"Welcome!" He said.

"Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! I have a few things to say to you all, and as one of them is very serious, I think its best to get it out of the way before you become befuddled by our excellent feast . . ." 

Dumbledore cleared his throat, and continued.

"As you will all be aware after their search of the Hogwarts Express, our school is presently playing host to some of the dementors of Azkaban, who are here on Ministry Of Magic business. They are stationed at every entrance to the grounds; I do ask for you not to go out without permission. It is not in their nature to be forgiving." 

Dumbledore glanced at the Golden Trio, and then continued with his speech.

"On a happier note, I am pleased to welcome two new teachers to our ranks this year. First, Professor Lupin, who will be filing the post of  of Defense Against The Dark Arts." 

Remus stood up and gave an awkward bow. 

The teachers at the staff table started clapping, and so did Y/n. Y/n's clapping was the loudest, and she didn't care if she was embarrassing herself. It was her uncle, so she was gonna clap no matter what. 

Suddenly, the Golden Trio started clapping with her. Y/n smiled at them, and they smiled back.

Dumbledore put his hand up for silence, and the clapping ceased.

"We also have a new care of magical creatures teacher. Our Hogwarts Game Keeper Hagrid will be teaching that subject."

Everybody burst in cheer and claps as Hagrid stood up.

"Well, after those announcements, let the feast begin!"

Loads of food appeared on the plates, and everyone started to dig in. Y/n was happy to finally be back at Hogwarts. Who knows what will happen this year? With the Golden Trio, a lot.

(this was a bit short. ive been planning this chapter out all week and then it's really short. Just so you guys know, I wrote Dumbledore's speech straight out of the book and cut some parts, so it may not make sense to you guys. But anyway, hope you guys have a great rest of your weekend! yours truly, A/N)
