Day 1
I started my first year at Hogwarts oblivious who I was about to bump into until I heard some chatter on the train..Harry potter was here..on the train I talked to my mates about him, what he was known for...right then I knew I wanted to be friends with him..We arrived at Hogwarts and climbed into our boats I saw Potter getting into a boat with A Weasely he better not be friends with them I thought.
As we climbed out of our boats and made our way up the steps I got chills but not cold chills..danger chills I knew something was wrong there and then...but I ignored it. Professor McGongall was waiting at the top of the staircase for us as we were about to enter the great hall for the first time for the sorting hat ceremony. At that point I decided it was a good chance to introduce myself to Harry so I said "So its true the..what they were saying on the train, Harry potter has come to Hogwarts..This is crabe and Goyle and I'm Malfoy..Draco malfoy..." The weasly made fun of my name so I put him in his place, but the potter turned me down for that ginger nut. Then a strange boy jumped out of line and picked up a disgusting slimy frog...Anyway as we entered the great hall I immediately knew what house I was in my father had told me the day before I left "If your not Slytherin your not a malfoy" but I know I am so ill be fine. First a Mudbloog went up and she got Gryffendor... I was waiting for potter though..Finally he went up and his took a particularly long time but I did hear him murder "not Slytherin" which I didn't like... Then it was my go without the hat even touching my head the hat said "SLYTHERIN" I marched proudly over to the Slytherin table where my classmates we cheering and clapping for me.
