Eclip slowly opened his eyes, returning from the deep slumber. It was very quiet around. Rising on his elbows, he looked around, and his gaze rushed to the girl standing at the window.

Abby was immersed in some kind of search, passing by various objects in the room. Her movements were muffled, as if she was looking for something very important and valuable. Noticing that Eclip had woken up, she turned to him, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Finally awake." she smiled "I thought you'll be sleeping longer"

"How much... Time passed? And... How are the others?" he asked, slowly returning to reality.

"You've been sleeping for around 4 days. The others are more or less okay. Hope afflicted the least, but Deimos... If he'll survive this night, there's a chance he'll wake up"

"But what about you?" he looked at her

"Don't worry about me" Abby looked aside "I am okay"

"That light... What was that?"

"The light? What are you talking about?" she pretended that she doesn't know

"Before I closed my eyes, I saw the light. Like an angel came from sky, and..."

Hope entered the room. It seems, she felt better. She said that Deimos woke up and asked her to help. Leaving her friend, she went to the Mayor.

He was already sitting on the bed and looking into the void. It seemed that he had lost something that was very dear to him. Again. The wounds on his body indicated that the creature that attacked them wanted to kill him. Abby came closer and sat on his bed, examining the bandages. There was no bleeding, but it still needed to be checked. The girl was as careful as possible, because she didn't know what he was ready to do in such a state, and any wrongly spoken word could harm her... Or him.

"Abby" he looked at her. She saw sadness and despair in his eyes. Then he sighed and continued "I am... Very sorry... That everything happened like this... If you want, you and Eclip may be free. You may leave the Castle... I... I don't want anyone else to get hurt during the next experiment... My own madness took so many lives. I'd rather let the city die than..."

"What are you even talking about? You are ready to sacrifice whole city just not to let anyone to get hurt? Did you hear yourself?" she was shocked about what Deimos just said. Then she sighed heavily "Anyway... Not about this now... You are okay. All you need is just to stay in bed for awhile. I'll do everything I can to make you return to ruling as soon as possible"

Having finished all her work, the girl stood at the window. The dark clouds that had swallowed the sky no longer left any hope for a sunny day. She watched the clouds move across the sky like dancers on stage performing their mysterious figures from a dim past. Each slow passing of the clouds enveloped her in feelings of uncertainty and excitement. And suddenly, among this ominous picture, she discerned something incomprehensible, mysterious in the form of an image. The clouds began to slowly change their structure, as if taking on a new, unknown appearance.

For the girl it was like a message from nature, as if the heavens themselves wanted to convey to her something important and mysterious. She felt that these changes in the weather carried something more than just the approach of rain. In the depths of her soul, she felt that the secrets of heaven hid the answers to many questions, and that each approaching stormy phenomenon was just part of a grandiose cosmic plan.

"The veil will cover the sun, and life will leave the planet" Eclip's voice made the girl flinch. He stood next to her.

"The song will end sudden, and the sadness in the eyes will freeze forever" Abby finished a line from an old prophetic song that her Father had once sung to her. "Eclip. I am scared. The storm is coming, and I'm afraid we can't stop it"
