Annabeth
It's been a couple of months since Percy's abrupt departure from camp and life has been more than boring than ever. I and Jay got together and our relationship is even better than I and Percy's, sure my friends don't approve, especially since it caused them to fall out with Percy, but they won't leave me still, due to the fact that we're friends. How awfully loyal they are.
I hum a cheerful tune to myself as I make my way to my personal study, ignoring the disappointment in Malcolm's eyes. I sit at my desk and prep my things, my reading glasses perched across my nose. Then I noticed a strange book resting on top of a stack of books I kept in the corner.
Curious, I pick it up, admiring the intricate gold and silver designs on the cover and spine. I flip it open to the first page, eyes widening at the name scrawled atop the dotted line in neat, bold writing;"𝐿𝑢𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑛 𝐶𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑛". Beneath it was a caduceus and another set of writing in small, feminine font; "𝒢𝒾𝒻𝓉ℯ𝒹 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓁ℴ𝓋ℯ 𝒻𝓇ℴ𝓂 𝓎ℴ𝓊𝓇 𝓁ℴ𝓋ℯ". I frowned, studying the page.
I flipped the page, facing a blank page. A pressed orchid bookmark fell out, its white pink petals a stark contrast to the dark background. I picked it up and noticed the same feminine writing on the bottom corner; " 𝒜𝒹ℴ𝓇𝒶 " it said. Behind it was a short note written in Luke's bold lettering;
"𝑀𝑦 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒, 𝑀𝑦 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑒, 𝑀𝑦 𝑞𝑢𝑒𝑒𝑛.
𝑀𝑦 𝑓𝑙𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟, 𝑀𝑦 𝑏𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑜𝑚.
𝑊𝒉𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑡𝒉𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑟𝑒 𝑎 𝑔𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑒𝑛,

𝑌𝑜𝑢'𝑟𝑒 𝑡𝒉𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝐼 𝑘𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔.
𝑀𝑦 𝐴𝑑𝑜𝑟𝑎. 𝑀𝑦 𝑔𝑜𝑑𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑠."Wordlessly, I tuck it back between the pages and flip open the diary to the first entry - fourteen years ago, before Percy arrived at camp for the first time, but after the lightning bolt had been stolen.
