THE BAND HAD signed the management contract with Brian earlier that day.
Peggy was beyond proud of the group for what they had achieved within the last few weeks.
Working with Brian had been amazing and surprisingly very simple.
But the silent treatment she was still receiving from Mike McCartney was really beginning to bore her, all she wanted was her best mate back but he clearly couldn't bare to take a look at her and it hurt her.
She just wanted to talk to him, she missed talking to him, she missed how hard he made her laugh, she missed when they would get fish and chips every Friday, their picnics on the beach or at Strawberry Fields, she just very simply missed him.
Peggy decided she was going to go over to his house and get whatever was going on sorted.
She got out of bed and changed into her black turtle neck, red tartan mini skirt and black knee high boots.
As she was away to step out the door she grabbed her red pea coat and her black handbag.
She knew he'd was the only person in the house, Paul was out with the other lads at the Cavern, and Jim was visiting relatives.
She crossed the small road and open the gate to his home, she walked down the little path and knocked on the front door.
Loud footsteps could be heard on the other side and then the door swung open.
His eyes widened immediately as he saw Peggy, "Mike..." he slammed the door but before it could properly shut she put her foot to stop it.
"please i need to talk to you...your being really fucking immature Micheal!" she shouted.
The door opened slowly, "you never swear." he spoke.
"i know, i only do when i'm pissed off." she gritted through her teeth.
Sympathy spread across Mikes face, he didn't want to admit it but he knew he had been harsh on her and he did feel bad.
"i just want to talk Mike. I miss you like crazy." she said quietly.
His heart ached, he missed her too more than anything, but one thing about him he was extremely stubborn.
