"GET DOWN STAIRS ALICIA!" my mom yelled." I'm coming mom" I responded back, "ok bag check, stuff i need for school check. Ok i'm good lets go", I get down the stairs and see my whole family at the table.
"Good morning sweetie" my mom and dad say in unison, "Good morning you guys"."Hi awicia",my baby sister said. "Hey cutie",i said in a little baby voice. She makes the most cutest baby gurgiling sound. I sat down at the spot that had the bacon and eggs at it.
"Are you ready for your fisrt day of freshmen year honey" my mom asks me."im a little bit excited and nervous at the same time" I told her while fiddling with my nails.
" you will be ok honey i promise, and plus you have Selena". I know its just still scary though"I respond. "I know honey but the feeling will soon pass, i promise."well lets get going everyone".my dad chimes in.
"You ready sweetpea"my dad askes me as we are walking outside. "Ya I'm ready"
Skipping drive."see ya everyone"I say as everyone waves in the car. As they drive off I start getting butterflies in my tummy.
"Hey Yvonne" I hear someone yell my name, i look around and i see the most coolest girl i know. Selena valentine, "hey girl how was your summer other than what you told me"?.
"It was really good had a good time with the fam".i told Selena,"thats really cool mine was great also, so are you ready to do this"? She asks me so excitedly."yea I guess" i say unsure on how all of this is going to go down.
"Don't be so scared, dont sorry i got your back"she tells me so confidently." "Ok come on before we are late for class". Selena just drags me along. We walk into the doors...and it is just what we expected.
