Mike's POV

I was sitting on the couch watching a movie with the guys, but gradually zoned out. Why? Because guess who picked the movie, Tony, and what movie did he choose? Star Wars.

Since I wasn't enjoying the movie so much, I decided I might just got for a walk and get some fresh air.

"Guys, I think I'm gonna go for a walk." I told them.

They turned away from the movie and gave me concerned looks. "Are you okay?" Jaime asked.

"Yeah, just going to get some fresh air, you know." They nodded and went back to watching the movie. I grabbed my jacket and slipped on my shoes.

I was walking along the sidewalk near what looked like an orphanage, until I saw a trash can shake. It looked like there was a girl behind it, but I wasn't sure. Moments later I saw a man stumbling towards the trash can, and suddenly heard a slurred "Hey girl" echoing through the dark alley. From that line I was positive there was a girl there, and I wasn't going to let someone get hurt especially if I can help.

I quietly got near the dark alley, and there he was stumbling over to the trash can. I swiftly moved behind him and grabbed a glass vase. Before he could take a step closer I quickly smashed the vase on his head, making him drop to the floor with glass shards around him. The alley was now silent, but you could still hear quiet breathing.

I didn't want her to think I was going to hurt her. So I did the next best thing. Talk

"It's safe to come out now." I calmly said.

I could see she was hesitant at first, but soon she came out behind the trash can. She was tall with black hair. She also had a Pierce The Veil shirt, band bracelets, and a pair of vans. What surprised me the most was that she didn't freak out, I wonder why.

It was quiet but I finally spoke up. "What are you doing out here at night, alone?" I asked. She heavily sighed, "Well I sorta ran away from my abusive father, who you just happen to hit." She chuckled. I felt sorry for her, what would have happened if I didn't help. One of our fans would have gone back to suffer.

I decided to lighten up the mood and chuckled back. "Then I don't feel bad about what I just did." I said with a smile. I saw her looking at me deeply, like she was trying to figure out who I was. Oh no here it comes she's going to freak out, but she didn't.

It got silent, but I didn't want to leave until I knew she was going somewhere safe. I may sound creepy, but I surely don't want her to wonder the streets alone.

"So, where are you going to stay now? You can't go back home." I asked concerned. "I was thinking of just going to the orphanage, since I have no where else to go." she said. I let out a sigh of relief, at least she's going to be safe. She gave me a questioning look but I just ignored it. Why am I caring so much about her? Is it because she's a fan? Maybe. There's something special about her and I know it.

"I better get going, it's getting late and I don't want him to wake up anytime soon." she said knocking me out of my thought. "but it was nice meeting you" she finished.

She was already leaving. I didn't want her to leave, why? I'm not sure. I acted quickly with a "Hey" to get her attention, she turned around and smiled waiting for a response. Shit! What do I say? Wait, her name, that's it! "I never got your name." I said. "Viviane, Viviane Alvarez." she said. I smiled, she has the same name as my mom...wow. Viviane smiled back and waved goodbye before turning around and leaving. I left from the other side heading home, slightly smiling.

I know there's something special about her, I know it. I have to see her again. She did say she was going to the orphanage and is most likely being put up for adoption. Should I adopt her, If I care so much about her? I know I only met her just now, but I have this caring feeling for her. I zoned out of my thoughts as I approached the front door of our house. I walked in and everything was dark. The guys must of gone to sleep while I was out. I slipped of my jacket and shoes and went upstairs to get ready for bed. I'll tell the guys tomorrow.

~In the Morning~
I woke up bright and early to make breakfast for the guys and I. My plan was to give them a good breakfast and talk about adopting Viviane.

It's been 10 minutes since we have been eating. I think it's time to tell them. "Guys" I got there attention. "I want to adopt a kid, well a girl. I met her last night" I rambled on until I was interrupted. "Mike, are you crazy!" Vic yelled. Well that wasn't the response I wanted, but that's what I get for telling them I want to adopt a girl I just met. "No, I am not, I just want to make someone's life better, okay! God Vic, I found her behind a trash can scared to death that her abusive father would find her and take her back to a living hell!" I yelled towards the small Mexican. As soon as I said that the room went quiet and their faces softened. "Now can I tell you about her or not." I said a bit angered. They all nodded.

I sighed, "When I was out for a walk, I saw a girl hiding behind a trash can because a man, her father was stumbling towards her. I wasn't going to let her get hurt especially if I could hurt.

"Why was she there in the first place?" Tony asked calmly. "She told me she ran away from her father." I responded, he nodded.

"So I went over to the alley and sorta hit her father with a vase." I said that sentence cautiously. Their eyes went wide, "You hit her dad!?" Tony asked. "Yeah, I mean I wasn't going to let him hurt her. Anyways after that she came out and we talked for a little. I even noticed she was wearing a PTV shirt and band bracelets!" I said. "Did she freak out or anything?" Jaime asked. "Nope". "Wait, where were you again?" Vic asked.
"An alley." I replied.
"Was it dark?" Tony asked. "Yes" I said.
"No wonder she didn't freak out! She couldn't see you Mike!" My brother yelled at me. " I don't care Vic! She seems like a chill girl and has a friendly vibe to her. Did I mention that she has the same name as mom?" I specifically told Vic. "Vivian?" He said, I nodded. "But Mi-" I interrupted him. "Vic like I said I don't care if you like it or not. I'm going on Monday to adopt her. My choice." I told them. "I agree with Mikey, it would be fun to have someone younger and a girl around." Jaime said. "Agree!" Tony yelled. We all looked at Vic for his answer, he rolled his eyes and gave in. "Fine, but I'm going with you, we all are" he said. I smiled widely I knew deep down inside Vic was excited like the other two. "Alright, Monday it is!" I said. I'm going to be a dad! I hope I'm an okay one.
