"Finally" I said, I just finished my biology exam which is my last exam for this term. I was so excited when the exam concluded because, this holiday I'm going camping! Yes, camping and with my friends Lesley, Nora and Ellen.

Let me formally introduce myself. I'm Nicole Spencer, and  i'm sixteen in grade eleven and I have three friends whom I stated above. Anyways, that's all to know about me.

When I got home, I overheard my mum having a conversation with my dad on the phone telling him, I wouldn't be able to travel to South Africa to visit him this particular holiday 'cause I'm going camping. Afterwards she called me to show me the picture of the driver that would drive us to the camp site.

I immediately went upstairs to prepare for the camping because I hadn't packed my bags due to the exams, and we are to leave on Monday, so I have four days to pack 'cause today's Thursday. My elder brother Theodore, was evidently happy I was going camping, so he could throw parties - crazy ones to be precise. Since our mum and dad usually traveled.

       I went upstairs to pack my clothes and all and as I was packing, my phone chimed. A message from an unknown number, I opened it and saw;
"Don't go into that dangerous night." Confused I sent the person a reply.
"Which dangerous night and who are you?"
"All I know is I was sent to tell you that."
"Who sent you?" I asked - no reply.
          "Hello?" No reply again.
"Please who are you?" Still no reply.
"Atleast could you tell me what you mean by dangerous night" still no reply.

I threw my phone on my bed and used my palms to cover my face. Just few hours after I'm done with my exams and I'm receiving strange messages. Anyways, I shouldn't be bothered for all I know it could be a child trying to play a prank.

I continued packing my clothes, but was to distracted, my mind kept on ringing 'dangerous night' over and over again and I couldn't concentrate. I slumped on my bed in defeat and decided to text Nora.
          "Hey Nora."
        "Yo, what's up."
"Nothing much, just texted to check up on you."
"Yeah, by the way Lesley and I are coming over to your house on Saturday with our parents." Nora said.
         "Ok sure, how about Ellen?"
"Oh yeah, about that, she won't be available to join us camping. She is traveling for her granddad's funeral. Oh I'm so going to miss Ellen and my mum and dad and my brother and sisters and everyone." Nora texted, with a crying emoji.
"Stop being overly dramatic, it's just one week." I replied
          "I'm not dramatic." Nora argued.
"Oh yeah, ofcourse." I replied and sent an eye roll emoji
"As a matter of fact it is Ellen that is the most dramatic."
"As far as I can remember, there was a time, exactly one month ago that we had a similar discussion, when I claimed you were a drama queen. You literally forced everyone to admit you weren't a drama queen, and by everyone I mean Lesley, Ellen including your mum, dad and sisters. Now tell me that isn't dramatic." I replied.
             "Pfftt, ofcourse not."
We continued discussing other things and before I knew it I drifted into sleep.
