"Put only one of the pods in your ear and keep the other somewhere safe." The person said.

"Why should I put it on." Because I didn't want to, it made me anxious.

"You said you wanted an explanation didn't you?" The person asked.

"Yes, but can't we use my phone?" I suggested.

"You're phone battery won't last forever, and you have no means of recharging it." The person replied.

I picked the pods, staring at it as if it was acid waiting to burn me.

"Don't worry it doesn't bite, it's the only means you have to understand what's going on." The person sent.

I did as instructed, I kept one of the pods safe in my pocket and the other in my ear.

"Hello can you hear me?" The person asked, I instantly realized the person was a guy, probably a young guy because he had a baritone voice.

"Yes." I replied. "Please can you explain what's going on now.

"Yes I will. Let me start from the very beginning. You might have to sit down for this." He said, I simply dropped the candle I was holding on the counter 'cause it was melting on my hand.

     "I'm good standing, proceed."

"There were a particular set of species on earth, which are now extinct. They had similar features as that of humans but weren't as they had four legs. They lived peacefully in this particular forest, although by then there were no trees bigger than even the biggest of giants as it is now but, anyways scientists realized there were other species on earth besides humans. So they sent three set of scientists to their land for further research. The scientists came and the species were frightened of them at first, but later took care of them. Unfortunately, one day the queen of the species falsely accused one of the scientists for threatening to destroy them - which was a lie. The king in an effort to protect his kingdom ordered the killing of all the three scientists.

Humans realized they were not receiving feedbacks from the three scientists, and three days later sent another three scientists to their land, but rather with a different instruction. The instruction was that if the species posed any harm to them, they should release a poisonous gas that would kill them in five days, which they did. Their death was extremely painful as each day that passed was filled with excruciating pain, some that couldn't withstand the pain died before the fifth day. The king on the fifth day before his death swore to avenge his kingdom and race, even after his death, which he still does to this day. Exactly why anybody that passes this forest doesn't live to see another and is killed within a series of five games."

You would probably expect me to say "wowww, so this is what it's all about." Or "which five games?" Or even "so what's the way forward." You know something mature - I didn't.

"Ha! That story sounds fake. Let me guess, hmmmm...... you got it from a Harry Potter movie right?" I cackled. The silence on the other line was enough to make me understand nothing was funny and the gravity of the situation.

"So you said something about five games?"

"Firstly Harry Potter novels are awesome and the story doesn't sound fake." He said. "Anyways you passed the king's land therefore you will play five games, which if care is not taken you would be killed while playing those games."

"How do you know all this?" I asked.

"My grandfather was one of the scientists sent to release the poison gas."
