Marcella was more quiet than usual. Ever since she came back with Vegeta. Her eyes were slightly puffy and red. Raditz was concerned. But whenever they looked at each other she would smile at him half heartedly. As if she wanted to just burst and tell him something. Her eyes were heavy with thought.
Raditz also noticed Vegeta wouldn't keep his eyes off of her terrified demeanor. Like he had the power to invade her mind with his cold stare.
"Looks like our work here is done!" Nappa concluded to the group.
"We are ordered to go to a different base than the last one. A smaller one. Frieza needs us there supposedly." The prince took out a small remote and pressed a button, summoning his pod. Nappa and Raditz followed their leader and summoned their pods with their remotes.
"They better have good food there. I'm starving." Raditz complained.
"We're all hungry Raditz!" Nappa yelled. The three pods came crashing down close to each warrior. Marcella nervously fidgeted with her wrist armor. Raditz placed a hand on her shoulder reassuringly.
"You still wanna ride with me?" He asked with a soft smile.
Marcella without hesitation nodded her head up and down. Her big lashes batting at Raditz.
"C'mon let's get out of this dump." The couple approached the pod and got in their familiar seating position.
The door sealed shut. The silence was unbearable. Raditz could hear his own heart thumping in his ears. Afraid to touch Marcella more than he already was he blinked at her. Trying his best to understand what was wrong.
"Raditz..." Marcella lifted her head, her big eyes welling with tears. Her voice scratchy. Raditz tilted his head and his eyebrows softened. His facial expression gave her a cue to continue. "I need to ask you a very important question."
"Okay, ask me anything." He stated firmly.
"What am I to you? Really, tell me the truth."
"You're someone I care about more than anything in the entire universe."
"Is that because I'm the only saiyan female left in the universe?" Her throat was tight. She was holding back so many emotions.
Raditz was taken back by her question. He paused and thought about his answer. "Ella, I have been obsessed with you ever since we were kids. I grew up with you and learned how to care about someone who didn't share my DNA." He gently wrapped his hand on the back of her neck. "Now I will not lie to you Ella. The fact that you are the last saiyan woman does make you a high price woman. Anyone would be a fool if they didn't treasure someone so valuable and beautiful." He moved his hand to meet her smaller hands. Fiddling with her fingers and tracing her palms he instantly noticed the deep purple bruises forming around them. He furrowed his brows just for a moment. Then softened his gaze when he met her gorgeous big eyes. "Even if you weren't the last saiyan woman I still would be treating you this way. I still would protect you at any cost. Because I lo-.... because I care about you." Raditz gently moved Marcella's hands to his surprisingly soft lips. Placing a small kiss on her knuckles.
"I care about you too Raditz." She began to sob. "I think I'm just overwhelmed I don't know. I shouldn't feel like this! I'm a saiyan warrior dammit!" Marcella hid her face in his chest and she let her frustrations out. She was trembling.
"Ella, what's going on? Are you scared?" His voice was soft and filled with anxiety.
"I am scared!" She blurted out. Covering her face.
      "Are you scared of me?"
"No! No no Raditz I'm not scared of you." Marcella quickly placed her hands on his face. Tenderly she looked into his eyes. Although she was still profusely crying. "I'm scared of Vegeta and maybe Nappa. Mainly Vegeta."
"What did he do to you?!" Raditz asked angrily. Grabbing one of her hands he pointed at her wrists. "Did that prick do this to you?"
Marcella was about to tell him everything. However she didn't want him to get mad. If he got mad he would try and challenge the prince. Vegeta would surely win. He would kill Raditz without hesitation. She wiped her tears and took a deep breath to calm her heart rate.
"No I've had these since we exterminated the planet. Must have happened during the fight somehow." She lied.
"I'm pretty sure I would've noticed." Raditz kissed her tender wrists.
"I-I had my armor on there's no way you could've seen." Marcella insisted. Raditz knew she was lying.
"Ella, please you're not alone. I don't want you to feel scared. I want you to be safe. Please tell me if there's any way I can help you." Raditz was sincere. He hated seeing her like this. It was like when her parents first were killed.
"I will. Thank you. I'm sorry for being so dramatic. I think I'm going to try and get some sleep." Resting her head on his chest she tried her best to be comfortable.
      "You're not being dramatic."
"Hmm." Marcella hummed in response as her eyes got heavy. She let herself slip into a light sleep. Raditz ran through everything they had just talked about. What happened when Vegeta and her split from the unit?

Landing abruptly Marcella awoke from impact. Rubbing her eyes she looked at Raditz.
"Are we at the base?" She asked groggily.
"Yeah, hopefully we get a nice room." Raditz stretched. The pod door opened and Marcella untangled herself from the man.
"Raditz! Marcella! Get over here!" Nappa ordered. Following the command they quickly soared to meet Nappa.
"They said there's a huge training room we can have access to whenever. After we get some grub we should have Marcella start training." Nappa placed his hands firmly on Marcella's shoulders. His smile was genuine. He was excited to help train a saiyan again.
Marcella lightly smiled. Nappa was taken back from her lack of enthusiasm. She had been a fierce woman and showed passion for life. But right now, she looked more like a ghost.
"Maybe we should get settled and rested first before training?" Raditz suggested to the bald man.
"Just because you have a thing for her doesn't mean you have to baby her." Nappa folded his arms threateningly.
Raditz stepped closer to Nappa. "I'm not babying her, I'm just suggesting that we rest first. We had a long journey and I wouldn't mind sleeping in for once."
"Ahh you're just lazy!" Nappa pushed Raditz with his index finger.
"I'm the lazy one? Pretty sure I watched you take a nap while the rest of us did a full planet life scan." Raditz smirked, he knew he got him there.
Nappa quickly swung his right arm "Why you little-" soon he was thrown against the base wall. It happened so fast Raditz could hardly make out what just occurred. To his surprise, it was Marcella.
"I can't believe you. You're a hypocrite. I will gladly take a rest day. Just because you had to nerve to sleep while your comrades did your job!" Marcella slammed her fist against the wall next to his head. "What happens if Frieza finds that there's still life on the planet?! He will kill us all!"
"That's enough Marcella." The gruff voice of the prince echoed into the air.
"Are you kidding me? And you call Raditz and I low class scum! We work twice as hard as both of you! You should be ashamed!" Marcella burned with anger. Her power level was steadily increasing. Raditz watched in awe. He was thoroughly impressed.
"I said that's enough." Vegeta threatened once more. "Get out of my sight before I kill you."
"This is bull shit." Marcella stormed off into the base.

"I won't let you kill her. You would have to kill me first." Raditz glared down at the short man.
Vegeta grinned. "That can be arranged."
"I can't believe she was that fast." Nappa laughed as he reminisced. "That was hot." He stood and dusted himself off.
Raditz snarled at Nappa trying to continue their fight.
"Get inside to your toy. Now." Vegeta ordered.
Raditz backed down. And spit angrily on the ground and proceeded inside.

Catching up with Marcella as she fumed down the corridors, Raditz was carful not to say anything that would provoke her more.
"I think the check in station is right down here to the right."
Marcella's eyes met his briefly. Instantly she shot her eyes away.
"I believe you are right." She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "I can't wait to go to sleep." Her voice was soft. You could hear her fatigue.
"We should eat first. We haven't eaten a decent meal in a couple days." He adjusted his arm band glancing towards his crush.
"Yeah yeah. Good idea." Marcella said with little emotion.
The two saiyans approached the front desk .
"Place your scouters on the tray and I'll determine what room you receive." The small alien creature glared at the so called 'monkeys'.
"Oh you're with Vegeta's unit. You will be in quarter 8."
Marcella and Raditz grabbed their scouters and walked toward the direction of the suite.
"Do you think I messed up?" Marcella's voice was hushed. Her eyes glued forward as she and Raditz continued down the corridor.
"What do you mean?" Raditz briefly glanced at Marcella. Then returned his gaze forward.
"I literally threw Napa against the wall. I was so angry and I yelled at him and Vegeta."
"I think Napa enjoyed it more than you think." Raditz scrunched his nose in disgust. "Vegeta will come around. I honestly don't think he would do anything to hurt you."
"Pff that's what you think." Marcella said under her breath.
"If anything I am the one on the edge of the cliff. They aren't too happy about my affections for you." Raditz cautiously looked behind his shoulder to make sure it was just them in the lone hallway.
"Yeah I know." Marcella looked up to meet his eyes. Her eyes were heavy and swollen. Raditz ached seeing her miserable.
They arrived to their room. There was a small living room and four doors.
"I will take this room." Marcella mumbled sleepily. She pressed the open button to the door and disappeared behind it.

Raditz plopped on the couch with a sigh. Letting his head fall back he closed his eyes to enjoy the silence before the others got to the room.
He wondered if Marcella would be okay. He wasn't sure what had happened but it made him worry.
