"I just got here. Where y'all sitting?" I said as my driver opened the door for me.

I hopped out the back of the Aston Martin truck and fixed my clothes.

"We're towards the front off to the side. Hold on, I'll come get you." Tristen said.

"Aight." I said before ending the call as I walked into my kids high school.

Mercy was 16 already and Milo had just hit 18 a month ago. They grew up fast as hell, right before my eyes.

And today was a big day for Milo. It was his signing day for college, so I had to make sure I was there. I had a meeting that I couldn't move around but luckily it ended right when the signing starts. And he wasn't the only senior signing so I had a few extra minutes to get here.

A few seconds later, Tristen appeared from around the corner, nearby the entrance of the auditorium.

"Hey, you had me worried for a second there." She greeted me and I hugged and kissed briefly, "how'd the meeting go?" She asked.

"The meeting was straight, we'll talk after, I got some good news for everyone." I said brushing it off because I didn't want it to take away from what was going on right now.

"Okay."

"Hey you good?" I asked before we moved. She looked a little pale and even though I didn't want to think nothing of it, I had to ask.

"I'm fine baby, just.. I've been nonstop today so I'm a little drained with this heat." She said and I nodded understanding.

"You've been drinking enough water today?" He asked.

"I have, thank you for checking in." She said cupping my face and we kissed again.

"You welcome mamas."

We walked back inside of the auditorium as the principal was getting ready to introduce the football coach and their athletes that committed to colleges.

"Hi daddy," Mercy greeted me as I sat next to her, giving me a hug.

"Wassup, babygirl," I said and Tristen sat beside me.

When the coach came up on stage, everyone clapped as he started to do a speech about his players and how proud of them he was.

"Now, my four seniors who have committed to colleges across the United States sit beside me and I can't say how proud I am enough to let them know."
