Today was the day they had eagerly awaited for months: their first step into Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital, a culmination of countless hours of study and preparation. The anticipation hummed in the air as they donned their orange outfits, a stark contrast to the sea of white coats around them.

"Ugh, these orange outfits are the worst," Ellie grumbled, her distaste for the color evident in her tone. "I hate them."

"Seriously, with your hair, it's like you're blending right in," Mike teased, unable to resist a jab at Ellie's expense.

Ellie playfully nudged him in the arm as she stashed her things in her locker. Leaning against his locker, Liam surveyed the scene. "Am I the only one feeling like we're the main attraction here?"

"Duhhh. A group of teenage doctors. They must be impressed," Mike winked at him.

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that," Miguel retorted dryly, his tone conveying skepticism.

Mike rolled his eyes and turned to Amy, who sat on the locker room bench. The young girl with brown curls nervously fidgeted with one of the many bracelets adorning her arms, a silent display of her apprehension amidst the excitement.

"Hey, you alright?" Ellie inquired, her voice filled with genuine concern as she noticed Amy's uneasy mannerisms amidst the bustling locker room.

Amy looked up, offering a faint smile to Ellie. "Yeah, I'm just a bit nervous." she admitted softly, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

"Yeah, I know. But don't worry. We're all in this together, okay?" Ellie assured Amy, her voice filled with determination and solidarity.

"Hell, yeah! And we're gonna prove to those old-ass bitches that even at our age, we're a force to be reckoned with!" Mike declared, his enthusiasm contagious as he rallied the group.

"Thanks, Sherlock. Care to enlighten us on the plan?" Miguel joked, crossing his arms on his chest.

"Yeah, we're not gonna waltz into their hospital and announce ourselves as the next big thing in medicine," Amy remarked with a hint of sarcasm, her tone laced with realism.

"Dude, come on, Liam is Jackson Avery's nephew. He has got the charm of a movie star. He'll get them on their knees," Mike quipped, a playful smile tugging at his lips as he nudged Liam teasingly.

The green eyed boy let out a quiet sigh and rolled his eyes, a hint of exasperation mingling with the amusement flickering in his gaze. Before the conversation could proceed, the head of the hospital, Rachel Myers, strode into the locker room, commanding everyone's attention with her presence.

Ellie quickly moved to sit next to Amy on the bench, exchanging a knowing glance with her friend. Meanwhile, the three boys leaned casually against the lockers, their expressions a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.

"Listen up, everyone. Given today's unexpected events, I need you all to be on high alert, understood? I need one person in trauma 2 and two others in trauma 1," Rachel directed the other doctors, her voice authoritative yet calm as she laid out the urgent tasks ahead.

The doctors nodded in acknowledgment, swiftly dispersing to their designated tasks with a palpable sense of urgency. Rachel observed their movements with a focused gaze, her expression resolute and unwavering.

After they dispersed, Rachel redirected her attention to the group of five teenagers standing nearby. "And you guys must be the new recruits," she began, her tone welcoming yet authoritative. "I'm D-"

"Dr. Rachel Myers! Oh, wow, I know all about you! I've read so much about your amazing work, and I even heard about how you postponed a Harper Avery once," Amy exclaimed with wide-eyed admiration, her voice tinged with excitement. "I'm a huge fan, and it's such an honor to be able to work with you!"
