Evil: The creature lurking in the dark.

Chapter 4

Third person Pov

The fear and face of the creature has been haunting Raye for the past two(2) weeks.

She often had nightmares about the creature consuming her and leaving her dead but she couldn't tell anyone else about it because she didn't want to be called a crazy person or worse that she needed to be sent to an asylum.
During those two weeks she heard that her next door neighbors went missing and their bodies were discovered the next day shriveled up like all fluids in their body had dried up overnight.

The local police officers said it was impossible for such decomposition to occur over night and has been the talk of the town ever since. The neighbors were a young couple who recently got married and just had a child together just last month.

It was such a tragedy and Raye seems to think it was the creature she had encountered two(2) weeks ago.

She repeatedly thinks of the scenerio and doesn't know how she survived after her encounter with it.

There was nothing special about her .
Realization showed on Raye's face the clock struck 4 am at the time.

She had realized the creature can't do any harm to her or anyone once it was 4 am.

After another 2 weeks Raye spent a lot of time doing research on how to destroy that creature and prevent more people like her neighbors from dying because not everyone was as lucky as her to encounter the creature few minutes before 4 am, but she felt there was more to it than what meets the eyes.
