"Taehyung?" Yoongi kept shaking the latter, who had probably fainted. He even splattered water on his face and felt relieved when he noticed a movement from the figure before him. Slowly, Taehyung opened his eyes. He felt his head heavy, and he tried to get up but failed, feeling a surge of pain.

"Slowly, Tae," Yoongi said, looking concerned at his friend. "Here, take my hand." Saying that, he held out his hand, and Taehyung grabbed it to get up, trying to stand straight. After a while, regaining his senses, he looked around to see that it was still dusk, with the sun about to rise, marking the beginning of a new day.

He looked around at the ground to see everything scattered and broken - food, drinks, snacks, cushions, broken plates, and bottles. And that's when he remembered everything that had transpired the previous night. The flashback made his blood boil.

Yoongi sensed the tension in Taehyung, who had his eyes closed and jaw clenched. He knew what had happened the previous night; he had heard from Hoseok, and he just wanted to bang his best friend's head for being so dumb. He knew Taehyung was going to regret it when he found out the truth.

Keeping his thoughts aside, Yoongi placed his hand on the other's shoulder and was about to say something, but was cut off when he heard Taehyung mumbling, "I hate him, I freaking hate him."

"Whom, Tae?" Yoongi asked, knowing whom he hated, but wanting to confront the latter about his behavior and also wanting to tell the truth - that everything was a mere misunderstanding.

Yoongi was broken from his thoughts when he felt himself being hugged by Taehyung. If it were any other day, he would have pushed the other away, but today was different. He knew his best friend needed it, so he just hugged him back, caressing his shoulder.

"Kim Seokjin," Taehyung replied coldly, and then continued, "I freaking hate him, Yoongi. I hate him. He played with my feelings. Am I nothing to him? And you know what's the funny thing here, Yoongi? This is not the first time he played with me and my feelings. He played with my feelings with Jimin too. He freaking knew everything about Jimin and that motherfucker, but he never told me once. He likes to see me broken; he enjoys it. He likes to see me, Yoongi, like this. He really does..."

Taehyung couldn't complete his sentence as he was now sobbing loudly in the arms of his best friend, who just kept patting his back. Yoongi had never seen his best friend so miserable. But this time, he knew that if Taehyung found out what he had done, he would regret it, and it would leave a permanent scar in Taehyung's life.

So, Yoongi composed himself, knowing he had to tell the truth now or never. He built up the courage and said softly, "You misunderstood them, Tae."

Taehyung didn't understand what Yoongi meant. He had calmed down a bit, with dried tears tinting his cheeks, his eyes still moist. But he pulled back from the embrace and asked, "What?"

"You misunderstood Jin and Jungkook," Yoongi replied.

Taehyung's face contorted in disbelief, and he shot a glare at Yoongi, walking away to the other side of the rooftop. His eyes formed tears again, making the view before him blurry.

Just then, he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Tae, I can understand what you had to go through. But Tae, you should have listened to..."

"Yoongi, stop it, okay? I have seen and listened to everything. So let's just end the discussion here," Taehyung growled in anger, and then walked out from there, closing the door of the rooftop with a loud thud.

Yoongi sighed and muttered under his breath, "You're going to regret it, Tae."
