Either through a hiring through IMP or any other outside force, your OC was hired to steal something from Crimson's Mafia, many of his valuable artifacts that he stole himself in order to keep his status up. While your OC and possibly their crush got a handsome reward for what they stole, Crimson along with his mafia chases your OC throughout all the rings of hell, leaving your OC no choice but to seek shelter at the Hazbin Hotel in order to stay safe. Unfortunately, it was very risky to try to leave the hotel because Crimson was willing to wait until they left the hotel.
