Bloodmoon ran outside. Their clothes were slightly ripped and covered in dirt and oil. Their arm was partially falling off, only being connected to their body with a few wires. There were some exposed wires on their leg and their side.

They ran into a nearby forest and hid behind a tree. They were out of breath and the back of their head was hurting.

"Bloodmoon," Stitchwaith yelled.

Bloodmoon covered their mouth with their hand. They tried to stay quiet. After what felt like forever, they heard Stitchwaith go back inside. They ran. Every movement was painful, but they ran. When they thought they were far enough, they stopped. They leaned against a tree.

"I think we're safe now..." Bloodmoon said. They winced. "My head..."

"Let me take over. I'll get us home," Bloody said.

"No, you did most of the fighting. You need to rest," Bloodmoon said.

"So do you, brother. You're clearly in pain. I can get us home in less than twenty minutes. Please, just rest," Bloody said. Bloodmoon felt a warmth spread through their body. Bloody was hugging them. They sighed.

"Fine, but don't push yourself," Bloodmoon said.

"I won't," Bloody said. They blinked a few times, their eyes turning from blood red to dark purple. They winced. "How do you feel?"

"My head still hurts... Does your head hurt?" Bloodmoon asked.

"No... You must have a headache. I'll get us home as fast I can, then we can rest for the night," Bloody said. They started running as fast as they could, holding their messed-up arm.

After about twenty minutes, they walked up to a cave. Inside was an old, dirty mattress, a few blankets, an old children's chest made of wood, and a put-out campfire. Bloody walked up to the chest and kneeled down in front of it. They opened the chest and pulled out a thing of gray duct tape, then sat down on the mattress.

"How's your head?" Bloody asked as they wrapped some tape around their broken shoulder.

"It feels worse than before. Talking makes it hurt more..." Bloodmoon said. They sounded exhausted.

"Just focus on sleeping for now. I'll find us food in the morning," Bloody said. They wrapped tape around their stomach and leg. "I'll try to find something to fix our body too."

"Okay... Goodnight, brother," Bloodmoon muttered.

"Goodnight," Bloody said. They laid down and pulled the blanket over them.

Bloody powered on. They blinked a few times before they sat up and rubbed their eyes.

"Morning, brother," Bloody said as they yawned. No answer. "Other?"

Bloody closed their eyes as they leaned against the wall. When they opened their eyes, they saw colorful clouds everywhere and they were in their old red body. They saw Bloodmoon asleep on the floor. (Bloodmoon looks like their new body.) They walked to Bloodmoon and sat down next to them.

"Other, wake up. We need to find food," Bloody said as they gently shook Bloodmoon. Bloodmoon didn't wake up. Bloody frowned as they shook Bloodmoon a bit harder. "Brother, wake up. I'm hungry! We haven't eaten in a few days."

Bloodmoon stayed asleep, their body limp. Bloody's frown was replaced with a look of concern. They shook Bloodmoon more, "Brother, please... This isn't funny. Wake up." Bloody said as they kept shaking Bloodmoon. They started shaking. They grabbed Bloodmoon's shoulders and pulled them up. "Other, wake up..."

Tears formed in Bloody's eye, "Bloodmoon... please, don't do this to me..." They said, their voice cracking as they rested their head against Bloodmoon's chest. "W-We must not have enough energy for the both of us to be awake! I just feed to get us some food!"

Bloody hugged Bloodmoon before leaving the "head space". They stood up and tried to walk outside. Pain shot up their leg, making them fall to the ground and wince. They stood up, their legs shaky. They took a deep breath, then walked outside. They walked around the forest, looking for a random animal.

Bloody found a dead deer laying in the grass. It looked like it had been dead for a few hours. Maybe two or three. They sat down next to the deer. They preferred something fresher, but they would take what they could get. They ripped the deer apart, drinking its blood and eating some of the meat. Some blood got on their shirt and their face. They whipped the blood off their face with their sleeve.

After Bloody finished eating, then sat down against a tree and waited for Bloodmoon to wake up. They waited one hour, then two, then four, then six.

Bloodmoon should have been awake by now.

Bloody didn't know what to do.

They just wanted their brother back.

Tears formed in their eyes again. They felt sick and tired. Extremely tired. They looked down at their hands. Their hands were shaking violently. They groaned again. They were usually the hyper one of the two twins, but they felt exhausted. They didn't know what was wrong with them.

All of a sudden, then got an idea. It was stupid and it most likely wouldn't work, but they had to try. They didn't know what else to do...

They had to talk to Moondrop.
