Bloody powered on. Their vison was blurry again. They felt something laying against them and something wrapped around them. They blinked a few times and saw Solar. Their face was buried into his chest and his arms were wrapped around them.
"Solar...?" Bloody asked. Their voice was soar and more raspy than normal.
Solar powered on. He took in a deep breath as he sat up, letting go of Bloody, "Sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep. I was trying to help you calm down."
"I feel sick..." Bloody muttered.
"I'll go get you another blood bag," Solar said as he started getting out of bed.
"I'm not hungry... I'm too sick to eat," Bloody said. They closed their eyes.
"Do you want me to stay or leave?" Solar asked.
"I don't know... I just want Bloodmoon," Bloody said. They curled up in a ball.
"What did Stitchwraith do to you and Bloodmoon?" Solar asked.
"He... They...tried to kill us..." Bloody muttered. "Bloodmoon was saying their head was hurting. I thought they were just having I headache, so I told them to rest... I couldn't wake them up. I tried and tried. I did everything I could think of the fix them, to wake them up, but they wouldn't wake up!"
"Did Stitchwraith touch your head?" Solar asked.
"No...? I don't think so... Everything is blurry. I can barely remember anything from yesterday," Bloody said. "All I remember is Bloodmoon saying their head was hurting, then the next day I went hunting because I thought we didn't have enough energy for the both of us to be awake, then I started feeling exhausted and sick."
Solar stared down at Bloody. He rubbed their arm, "We'll look over your systems again. For now, all you need to worry about is eating and sleeping. You can stay in your head space while you rest for all I care, but we need you to stop fainting." Solar stood up.
"Where are you going...?" Bloody asked, their voice barely over a whisper.
"I have to talk to Moon, but I'll come back to check on you in a couple minutes," Solar said.
Bloody stayed quiet. They closed their eyes. Solar sighed, then left. He walked into the daycare and saw Moon sitting at the front desk and Sun standing beside him, "Hey."
"Have they done anything?" Moondrop asked.
"Other than eating, sleeping, and talking, no," Solar said. "They're too weak to move and the overheating is getting worse."
"Did they tell you what happened to them?" Moondrop asked.
"I don't understand why it matters. We have the opportunity to get rid of them. One less problem for us to deal with," Sunrise said as he crossed his arms.
"They wouldn't have come here unless something was really wrong. They came in with their body falling apart," Solar said. "Bloody said the Stotchwraith attacked them and they said Bloodmoon won't wake up."
"We'll have to look at their systems again. See if we missed any viruses," Moondrop said.
"I can bring them to Parts and Services," Solar said.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Sunrise asked.
"If anything goes wrong, we'll take care of it. Don't worry about anything," Moodrop said as he stood up. "You can spend time with Lunar and Earth while we deal with Bloodmoon, okay?"
Sunrise sighed, "Okay..."
"I'll go get Bloody," Solar said. He walked out of the daycare, to the room Bloody was staying in. He opened the door and saw Bloody sleeping. He walked to them and slid his hands under their back and legs. He picked them up.
Bloody groaned. They rested their head against Solar's chest. He carried them to Parts and Services. He laid them down on the “bed” in the machine, then walked to the computer. Moondrop walked into the room and to Solar.
Solar started doing a scan over Bloody's code, checking for viruses or bugs. Solar looked up at Bloody. They were breathing heavily and slowly and the fans in their systems were going as fast as they could. They were shaking and muttering something.
The computer dinged, letting Solar and Moondrop know the scanning was done. Solar started typing on the keyboard. Solar and Moondrop's eyes widened.
"Five different viruses?!" Moondrop asked.
"Three of them are the reasons they keep fainting and overheating, but I have no idea what the other two do," Solar said as he continued typing.
"Well, getting rid of three of the viruses shouldn't be hard. I think we just have to reset their systems," Moondrop said.
"I'll talk to them about it when they wake up," Solar said. "Which will probably be in a few minutes."
"Bloody seems to have taken a liking to you," Moondrop said.
"They just trust me because they know I won't hurt them. I'm the only one here that hasn't attempted to hurt them," Solar said.
"Why did you help them?" Moondrop asked.
"To get you and Sun back and to distract Ruin. The twins said they would stay away from you if I repaired them. Haven't you noticed that we haven't seen them since we fixed Ruin?" Solar asked as he turned to Moondrop.
Bloody groaned. Moondrop and Solar looked at them, "I'm gonna go before they wake up. I imagine they don't want me to be around."
"Alright. I'll be out in a little bit," Solar said.
Moondrop nodded, then left.
