Today was Sunday the day of my moms Cookout I was hungry already I loved my mama cooking and Symone ass cook just like her, speaking of Symone I knew her ass was scared cause was asking me what she should wear since last night
I woke up seeing Symone not next to me I sucked my teeth looking at the alarm clock seeing it was 11am I picked up my phone seeing messages from the guys and my mama
I placed my phone down calling my mama putting the phone on speak
"Wassup ma"i spoke sitting up
"Hey baby, Goodmorning how you feeling?" Her soft voice spoke
"Goodmorning I'm feeling good about to hop in the shower"
"How you feeling?" I asked him walking into the bathroom with my phone
"I'm doing good just had to check on my baby and see how he was doing and to see if you and Symone was still coming to the cook out" she asked all happy
"Yeah ma, me and Symone still pulling up is there anything you need us to bring?" I asking looking myself in the mirror
"Yay, I can't wait to meet her" she squealed I chuckled staring the shower
My mom ain't never been excited about me bringing a female to an family event
"Mama please"
"Boy let me be happy, but I do need you to get me some thing I'm going to text you the list"
"Alright I'll see you later ma"I said about yo hang up
"Okay later baby" I hung up hopping in the shower

I walked down the steps smelling breakfast which made a smile grow on my face I made my way to the kitchen seeing Symone in the kitchen cooking while listening to music on low
"What you in here cooking?" I sneaked behind her as she jumped
"East don't be doing that"she slapped my hand as I laughed
"Lucky I ain't hit your ass with this spatula " she held up I shook my head as she went back to cooking I hugged her from behind as she flipped the pancakes
"Goodmorning baby" I leaned down giving her a kiss
"Good Morning East" she moved herself out of my grip to grab two plates
"I know your ass not mad"
"Nobody's mad David" she rolled her eyes I shook my head as she made our plates
"You look mad to me" I said sitting down on the barstool
"I'm not babe relax" she sat my plate down in front of me
"Alright so don't be giving me attitude or calling me east or David" I said as she sat down next to me
"Shhh and Eat your food" she gave me kiss on my cheek I did as told eating my food
"You ready to meet my family?" I asked rubbing her thigh
"No, but I have to get myself ready"she gave me a nervous look
"You don't gotta be nervous shawty my family is going to accept you with open arms mama" I gave her a kiss on her hand to relax
"Okay" she sighed eatting I was done with my food taking my plate to the dishes as she still ate
"Alright Baby I'll come pick you up at 4 I have to go handle something okay?" I grabbed my car keys off the counter about to walk out
"EAST" she called out I looked back her as she just started at me
