Okay so maybe he wasnt going to enjoy his stay here that much... it was difficult trying to figure out his way through the kitchen and even his way through the dormitory he was provided.
Not only was that hard, but everytime Katsuki would wake up, so would Kuri... and god knows how many times Katsuki would try to put her back to sleep before Izuku woke up. It was sweet of course, but he just didnt know why Kuri was always waking up. She was never this consistent in sleep disturbance until now. Maybe the new place was also freaking her out... she did finally have her own room. "I got her, Kats." Izuku murmured, kissing Katsuki on the cheek as he took the baby from the Alpha's arms, "thank you." He smiled sweetly at Katsuki, who looked slightly disappointed.
"Are you getting enough sleep?" The ash blond asked quietly, wrapping his arms around Izuku's waist, his hands intertwining underneath Izuku's stomach.
"Mmm, I think so." Izuku murmured, rocking back and forth, "I'll be okay..." he continued, looking up at Katsuki with soothing eyes, as Kuri babbled happily, which he couldn't help but find a little silly. He looked down at his beautiful baby girl... she looked so happy. The harrowing evidence of her former suffer plastered across her face... he tried to keep it in. He truly tried. He tried to focus on the light blonde tress of curls on her head and the freckles across her cheeks, but that scar... god that scar.
"Izuku." Katsuki called out softly, the boy in question having not noticed the tears that streamed down his face. He noticed Kuri was already drifting off to sleep and attempted to take her from Izuku's arms, to put her in her crib... Izuku held on tight. "Baby..." he mumbled.
Izuku shook his head and slid down onto the floor. Holding her tightly, "No... Don't.. Don't take her, please?" It was such a heartbreaking plea, Katsuki felt his chest tighten. He kneeled in front of the greenet, grasping Izuku's freckled face into his rugged hands, calloused yet soft thumbs wiping away at Izuku's dampening face.
"It's not your fault." Katsuki stated, crimson meeting eyes the colour of the forest. "It is not your fault, you hear me?" Katsuki repeated, he felt like crying. So it was no surprise when he himself began to cry slowly, pressing his forehead against Izuku's.
Izuku stayed quiet through Katsuki putting Kuri into her crib, but it was like everything just came crashing down onto his frail body when he got back into the bed. Katsuki held him tightly, he texted Ochaco a moment before, asking her to tell their Sensei what was up. It was hard, through teary, cloudy eyes to ask, but he knew he couldn't leave Izuku like this. Not with the greenet clinging to his shirt. With tears staining the pillowcase beneath their heads.
No he couldn't leave Izuku like that...
They both cried, cried for eachother and cried for Kuri. They held eachother like they'd never have this affection again... Katsuki cursed himself. He wanted to kill Shigaraki, and all the other reprobate bastards who'd ever think of hurting a baby. A child. How little must you care for anyone to have hurt something so small. Fragile and meager. He'd kill every single one of them if given the choice.

Katsuki's eyes felt raw, they burned and they looked red as he came in for second period, holding Izuku's hand without a glance to anyone. Izuku... was starting with the course that morning. Though he looked just as blotchy and tear-stained as Katsuki did. Izuku took some time to let Nemuri-san babysit, and he told her so much about Kuri and her habits to the point his voice was almost gone.
Ochaco noticed their sad appearance, watching as Izuku refused to let go of Katsuki. Aizawa didn't seem to mind, everyone knew when they allowed Izuku into the hero course, that he'd be practically attached at the hip with Katsuki. Ochaco gave them a small wave, to which Izuku returned with a small weary smile.
Katsuki held Izuku between his legs, his face pressed against Izuku's back as he held the greenie tightly, "You okay...?" Ochaco whispered, directing the question to Izuku.
Izuku took a pause, he always said he was fine. No matter who asked or when, it was always he was fine. Was he fine? Does he know how he should feel...
"Not really." Izuku smiled softly.
He knows how he should feel. He knows he shouldn't lie anymore. He was surrounded by people who cared about him. Why would he lie... he shouldn't do that anymore. Katsuki squeezed him slightly when he heard this. Kissings Izuku's nape gently with nothing else on his mind.
"I'm quite scared really." Izuku admitted. Ochaco looked at him with almost pity. She could see the grief in Izuku's eyes and the pale difference in his skin tone. "But," he continued, "I have Kacchan." Izuku beamed, "and Kacchan keeps me safe." He fiddled with his fingers. "I think I'll be okay." He told her. He wanted to be positive. As positive as he could. Because they got lucky. They got lucky that Kuri is alive, healthy and happy. They got lucky she would be able to grow up filled with love, from both of her Dad's.
Because no matter how she appeared, they'll love her. They'll love Kuri and they'll love this flourishing baby in Izuku's stomach. They'll love the child with as much love as they could muster. With all their strength and care. They had so much to give. Katsuki smiled against Izuku's back, hearing Izuku's words and soft heartbeat as class began.
Their baby.. their babies will be taught and fostered with love and care. They were going to make sure that would become true.

nd Note(s): Aw man, I almost cried writing this one 😭 Its too early for this. I enjoyed writing something where Katsuki wasn't just there trying to be strong. He has emotions too, and I wanted to show that.
