JASON DILAURENTIS' POV:

I grabbed the two mugs of tea and sauntered out of my house, kicking the front door shut behind me before moving over to the figure sitting on the front step of my porch.

"Here." I mumbled, taking a seat beside them and handing them the mug. "How are you holding up?" They asked me softly, I scoffed a laugh and placed my mug down beside me, resting my forearms on my knees and looking out at the night sky.

"It's just one thing after another in this town...can't seem to catch a break." I sighed, they hummed in response and lifted their mug to their lips before taking a small swig.

"What about you, how you doin'?" I asked quietly, glancing over at Quinn who was my company of the evening. After everything that I'd been through and what she'd been through, we were each others best company at this point, and that said a lot.

"I've had better days.." she mumbled under her breath, I watched intently as she placed her mug down next to her and tucked her hair behind her ears. I'd given her a lift home after the ghost train party tonight, but she messaged me about half hour ago asking if she could come over so we could talk.

"I don't know what has been happening to all you girls, but there's someone who's really trynna hurt you all isn't there?" I questioned, replaying the moment in my head when I saw Quinn getting attacked by whoever the fuck that was. It made my knuckles clench at the thought of it.

"Yeah...none of us know who, or why?" She laughed but it was more of a bitter laugh than a humorous one.

"It started happening after Ali was pronounced dead." Quinn reached into her pocket and pulled her phone out. Tapping on the screen a few times but then her taps grew more aggressive and she huffed before pinching the bridge of her nose. "Shit."

"What's up?" I asked, turning slightly to face her. Her phone pinged and her face paled.

Quinn slowly stood and backed away from me, "hey hey, what the fucks going on? What's wrong?" I asked, holding my hands out to her as she looked like she was about to bolt at any given point.

"I...I gotta go, erm..." she stumbled over her words as she placed her phone back into her pocket and tightened my jacket around herself that I had leant her as she'd shown up to mine in a frickin' tank top.

"Thank you..for the tea, and the company" she gave me a small smile but I didn't believe it for a second. "Quinn! What just happened?" I asked as she made her way down the porch steps, she stopped in her tracks and looked back at me.

"I'm sorry I just gotta go, I'll see you later." She rushed before spinning on her heel and making a beeline down the road towards her house. I watched in utter confusion as she walked away.

I finally felt like Quinn and I were getting along, I always felt drawn to her ever since I met her back in high school, although I treated her like shit back then I'd grown now, changed. I couldn't help but think about her before I fell asleep each night, and she was the one I thought of each morning that I woke up, it frustrated me knowing that someone else had her in that way. But I can tell in her eyes as much as she doesn't want to, and as much as she hates herself for it, she thinks about me too.
