Chapter 17

Birds chirping sounds can be heard through your ears, you open your eyes slowly and blinking like an owl. The first thing you saw is a plain ceiling, you turn your head to left and right. You realise that you're laying on a white single bed, there's also a vase of flowers decorate on the desk beside you and a bowl of water with a handkerchief soaking in it.

You're wearing a white shirt with buttons on, you also can see bandage wrapping around your chest and your arms. You sit up immediately without any dizziness, then there's a familiar sound stop you "(L/n)-san, please lay back down on your bed. You're still in recovery, you can't sit up like this in sudden." You look at the girl who tell you to lay back "Aoi-chan, how long did I sleep?" You said while laying back down.

Aoi walked to the desk and prepare water for you "About three days and a half. Kocho-san expected you to be awake in a month or more but I'm glad you're already awake." She said with a stiff tone. She took a cup of water and gave it to you, you thank her then you drank the water slowly. You look at Aoi, you saw her nervous expression while clenching her fist tightly "Is there something wrong Aoi-chan?" You asked her in worry tone.

Aoi turn back to the door "There's nothing wrong, I'm just thinking about somethings. There's a medicine on that desk, please drink it immediately." She close the door and leave you alone after she said. You tilted your head in confusion but you didn't think too much of it then you grabbed the cup on the desk with medicine in it and drink it without hesitation 'Oh, it is anti-inflammatories. Bitter.' You flinch but still finish the medicine.

A few minutes later, a loud voice can be heard outside your room "(Y/N)-SAN!!!" You already know who can yelling like that, the door burst open and it revealed a pink green hair girl crying loudly. She pounced at you and gave you a big hugged "WAHH!!! I'M GLAD YOU'RE OKAY (Y/N)-SAN. I THOUGHT I'M GOING TO LOSS YOU. WAHH!!" Mitsuri shaking you vigorously while crying loudly, the shaking it's making you want to puke.

"Don't shake her like that, can't you realize it's making her uncomfortable." A monotone voice mixed with sarcastic appeared, Mitsuri let go of you immediately "Ah, I'm sorry. Are you okay (Y/n)-san?" You head still spinning but you back to normal now "Yeah, I'm fine Mitsuri-san and hello to you Muichiro-kun." Mitsuri shocked for awhile "Heh, why did Tokito-kun appeared in here suddenly?" Muichiro tilt his head "I'm just plan to heading out but I'm lost right now."

You laugh lightly "Muichiro-kun, do you want I gave you headpatted?" Muichiro eyes lighten up a bit "Yes please." He walked to you then you raise your hand to patted his head lightly, he even close his eyes to enjoy the warm on his head. Mitsuri gawking at the scenes speechlessly 'This is the first time I saw Tokito-kun been this close to someone.' You turn your head to look at Mitsuri, Mitsuri flinch a bit "Mitsuri-san, do you want headpatted too?" You asked.

Mitsuri flush by your words "A-ah, no need (Y/n)-san. Anyways I'm so worry about you in this few days so I've bring Sakura mochi for you." She said while took out a box of Sakura mochi shove it on your hand "Um, thank you Mitsuri-san but I'm not hungry right now so I will eat it later." You put the Sakura mochi at the desk then suddenly you heard thumping sound in the hallways approaching your rooms.

The door burst open again then you saw Tanjiro panting heavily, Tanjiro smile at you "(Y/n)-san, I'm glad that your alright." He walked to you then he's crying on your bed "I-i'm glad that you're alive." You're dumbfounded by this scenes "U-um, Tanjiro I'm fine. I'm right in front of you all. Oh my god, please don't cry in front of me, I don't know how to react." This might be a long day for you.

You didn't expected will be a lot of people to visit you, after wave off Mitsuri and Muichiro, Tanjiro choose to stay longer with you then we have Zenitsu and Inosuke to come over to visit you. Zenitsu are crying while hugging you and Inosuke said that you're weak that you've been beaten by a demon like this, typical. After the trio leave not in a few minutes, Kanao also came to visit you she's even help you to brush your hair.
