Neharika's POV

I woke up as usual and did my morning routine. I was making breakfast and lunch. I saw everyone coming to dinning and shocking thing was Ryan was the first one who came to dinning today, what has happened to him?

Aryamaan came and sat on his chair, I served them and sat on chair. My eyes met with my husband and he nodded his head and was about to ask but the silence broke by none other than Ryan "Mom, Dad, no, everyone I want to talk to you, it's really urgent" his voice sounded nervous but we all shrugged it saying you can say anything we will always support you.

He looked down saying "I have a girlfriend and want to marry her." Hearing that we all had smile on our faces, our little Ryan even have girlfriend now. I said "Oh this thing, for this you were that much nervous?" He shook his head saying "No Mumma but I want to marry her as fast as I can." I looked at him with confusion asking "Why? We will take things slowly."

He shook his head saying "Noo she got pregnant. We don't want to abort our child Mumma. The thing is she is from another ca-cast." Hearing that my face became pale and I slowly looked at Aryamaan who was fuming in anger. "I don't agree this. We don't even know her, do whatever you want with her and your kid." Hearing this from Aryamaan I was taken aback. He was never a stone hearted person like this. Ryan's eyes turned teary hearing that.

Papa said "Arya, we are still alive you can't take decision by yourself and we agree for this. We also want to see our grandson's child." Hearing that he looked at Papa angrily saying "You are being very open minded now, what had happened when I said the same thing to you? Why did everyone turn their back to me? Why always me? Now I can't even take any decision for my own son?" Hearing that everyone looked at him with shock and me with worry. What? Why? Did they think he moved on from her? Noo.... as usual I controlled my emotions because this topic he never reopened after our first night. And now today.

Kids looked at him with confusion but Papa said "Turvi and Tanuj go to college and Ryan, you go to office." They nodded feeling tension between their Dad and Dadu. After they went Papa said to Aryamaan "So do you want to happen the same thing with your son Arya? Do you want him to go through same pain? Do you want him to live in pain his whole life? Do you want him to become another Aryamaan who can't even make his wife happy? Do you want that?"

Hearing that he looked at me with little guilt and I shook my head towards him with little smile. "I don't want that Papa but suddenly marriage, I also love my Ryan. I also want best for him. Until I see that girl, I am not going to agree Papa." Hearing that everyone smiled. But their eyes were on me, I looked at them with confusion until Maa asked "Are you okay?" I nodded with smile saying "Of course..."

Papa said "Don't hold grudge towards me and your Maa Aryamaan because I also wanted best for my son like you but my father's wish was your marriage. What I could have done because doctor told us that he doesn't have much time left. If you would have been in my place think what would you have done that time?" Hearing that he just nodded saying "It happened many years ago Papa, don't bring that topic now and I didn't hold any grudge towards anyone. It's just that without looking at the girl, how can I just say yes?"

Papa nodded patting his head saying "It's okay, but talk with Ryan in office, okay?" He nodded and left for office and so did everyone.

We had our lunch with silence until Papa called me, I went to him asking "What happened Papa? Do you need something?" He shook his head saying "Just want to have father daughter's chat." I nodded with smile making myself comfortable beside him.

"Yes" I said and continued saying "I want to tell you one thing Neha." I nodded. "We all know how your family's condition was." Hearing that I looked down feeling low.
